I placed an order online to be delivered. It took an hour and a half to arrive, which wouldn't have been so bad if the food wasn't completely cold when it did finally show up. I ordered nachos and fajitas. The nachos were soggy and had MAYBE a handful of cheese. The fajitas would have been fine, IF they had... More

There is a dish on the menu that is outstanding, tenderloin tips in a red spicy sauce with jalepenos and also comes with a large enchilada with cilantro sauce that is as big as a burrito! I think it is called filete a la mexicana. Try it-so yummy! Love this place!

Cancun is an alternative to the local chain of Mexican restaurants in Madison. We stopped in for a change of pace. At the dinner hour we were one of three tables--really quiet. The decor is bright and colorful, but the benches in the booth seem "sat out." The service was great. We had previously enjoyed the salsa and chips--the salsa... More

We tried this place after discovering Pedros west had closed. The food was mediocore at best.... a magnifying glass would have helped locate the chicken pieces in the nachos! We ordered appetizers and four different entrees. The flavor was not bad but the skimpy servings that were not reheated throughout negated the experience. The restaurant had only two other tables... The restaurant's decor is very festive and cute, although some of the booth's benches were torn and I was glad that I was wearing pants. I was surprised at the amount of seafood on their menu and my husband and I ordered the swordfish tacos. It was by far, the best swordfish I have ever eaten! The tomatoes and other... More

There are a lot of Mexican places in the Madison Area. This is my new favorite. This is a family own/run place, which I always prefer. The menu was great. Lots of traditional choices, and then lots of authentic choices. What was nice were the great authentic Mexican seafood options that you don't find most other places. And, they have... More

We went to Cancun for dinner after spending a day shopping at the Mall. The food and service was great, but the dining room needed a good cleaning. Dirt and debris was seen in every corner, rugs needed to be swept, and floors mopped. When you see a restaurant that is lacking in basic cleaning in the front, it makes... More

We visited cancun for the first time and we were impressed by their big menu. The Food was great, I ordered the Mariscada Tabasco which was spicy but delicious and my wife ordered the Pollo Salsa Poblana with a cream sauce. Of course, we will be going back for their margaritas at half-price.

We had chosen Cancun because after sitfting through menus we found they had ceviche which is a family favorite of ours. Upon arrival we were impressed by the large menu and excited for our meal, but after the food arrived the excitement declined. The ceviche, which we had for our appetizer was good, it did not come with saltine crackers... More
