You know when you walk in the door that you're in a university district. The decor is artsy, offbeat, and charming, from the folk singer manikin to the O'Keeffe-inspired painting, to the stained glass panels and the wine bottles. Our party of four had all different and all excellent breakfasts, served by an ebullient waiter. The menu went beyond standard... More

BEWARE!!! Take it from a customer with a child who has biopsy-confirmed celiac disease -- the cupcakes displayed as "gluten-free" are NOT GLUTEN-FREE. A post-vomit phone message with a reasonable request to speak to a manager about this was ignored.

I just love this restaurant because no matter the time of day it just works for my mood. Great place to stop for coffee, breakfasts offer whatever your heart desires. Lunches are great ( I suggest you share as servings are ample.) Dinner is just lovely with fish, steak, chicken and my favorite comfort food....meat loaf! You will be greeted... More

We went Sunday am after church. I recommend reservations after 11:30. Also recommend purchase the "to-go" cupcakes you want when you arrive as you'll want to linger at the place and the lust-worth cakey treats go fast. Our party purchased two to-go and then accidently tipped over the box while hugging good-bye...and they were replaced free of charge. Hubby had... More

The owners are always there to greet you with a smile. The coffee is hot, and the service is great. And the food is the best in Madison! Don't miss this place.

Had breakfast at the Daisy Cafe and it was fabulous. I had their famous egg sandwich and potatoes. The bacon (which was lots) on the sandwich was not greasy at all and had a great flavor. I love the fact that they do not deep fry the new potatoes. There was also a lot of vegetarian food on the menu.... More

We stopped here based on the the Trip Advisor reviews and glad we did! My husband had one of the meatloaf dishes, my son had the Sloppy Jose, my daughter and I had the 666 chili. All of the food was very fresh and tasted incredible. The best chili I've ever had! We also tried a rum drink and a... More

We took our small Girl Scout troop here for a meeting. The girls raved about the cupcakes and we got more to-go. The staff was very polite and didn't rush us out of there in a need to make room for other patrons, granted we were there on a Wednesday afternoon. It is a great place to take kids, plus... More

Recommended by the front desk at our hotel. Server was friendly and attentive. Breakfast of eggs toast and bacon delicious. Fresh fruit wasnt just a garnish. Could have eaten just the fruit and toast as a meal! Variety of cupcakes and we chose three to go. My son ate his chocolate cupcake right away and loved it. The mimosa cupcake... More
