Good food, by not impressed with cupcakes

I have to eat a gf diet. Decent choices here and the food has been good the few times I have been. I wouldn't waste the calories on the cupcakes. Flavor is just so so and the amount of frosting is too much for my taste.

The food was very fresh and unique. They also have a wide variety of hot sauces, which was a big plus. The decor inside made the ambiance feel very welcoming. Overall, I would visit again if I am in the area.

I had lunch here with a friend. The noise made it difficult to talk. She enjoyed her pancake but my "New Mediterranean" sandwich (Edamame hummus, fried breaded eggplant, tomato, spring-mix lettuce and cucumber-yogurt sauce on whole-wheat pita) was disappointing. The quantity was surprisingly minimal. The pita was cut into 2 pieces. Each half held a thin slice of eggplant, one... More

A unique dining experience. The restaurant occupies the main floor of a house on Madison’s east side. It is very high quality home cooked food from scratch. The breakfast offerings are probably better than the lunch fare. They can accommodate large parties and it is quite kid friendly. It’s an eclectic décor but the food is very good. (The restrooms... I only stopped here because I saw it as I drove by. Glad I stopped in. The place looks relaxing and inviting. I got two cupcakes to go. I had one and shared the other one so I can only say the one I had was fantastic. Raspberry with vanilla. If I ever get back to Maduson I would definitely... More

I like this little relaxing spot. Their lattes are large and well prepared. I appreciate that they are served in a tall clear glass with a small paper jacket to keep your hand safe. Different. Staff is consistently friendly. Sometimes I'm confused - should I seat myself or wait for someone? My 2 food experiences here were excellent! Meat free... More

My gf and I had a nice vist. The coffee was on the bitter side that day. Which normally isn't the case. My friend had a sandwich she said it was really good. 2 of us had the Cornucopia soup which was really tastie. My other friend had the multi grain pancakes she said she loved them. 2 of us... More

I LOVE fish frys--I am always in search of the best fish no matter where I go. Went with some friends who frequent this place often. Service was slow--usually establishments have fast service when there is a fish fry. Not sure if this is known as a place to go for fish, so that may be the problem. I received... More

The fact they serve breakfast til 3 is awesome. I like breakfast foods. The cafe part was great! Good location, all right parking. They don't take AmEx but luckily I had cash. Quirky decor. Only 1 bathroom, had to wait a bit. There were really not enough cupcakes for it to be also called a cupcakery? They had 3 flavors... More

Went on a Saturday 10:30 a.m. with my 2 sisters. We were seated right away. Decor is interesting, eclectic, mismatched and warm and quaint enough. Staff were friendly, not pushy. Coffee refills kept coming which was great. There are a few interesting things on the menu and some old standbys for those not wanting to venture. The egg sandwich that... More
