We love pizza by the slice - no hassle over topping decisions. They have a good variety and fast service. Plenty of seating inside and tables available to dine out on State St - great for people watching. If you like New York style pizza, go to Sal's in Hartford WI for the best in the state!

Nice pizza joint with some really alternative pizzas (mac and cheese for example) which are sold by the slice. Unfortunately my children didn't like any of the options and wouldn't eat them as served so we had to pick bits off. Nice selection in salads. This restaurant is in my opinion for the mature palate.

Great variety. Large, ample slices and tasty crust. I had the spinach with pesto and portabella mushrooms. Delicious.

I am in college and love corky weird places like this. Since you are the Madison campus it feels like a collegey place so it is very relaxed and fun. I got the veggy pizza with huitlacoche and some other num nums on top and it was delicious! Super cheap and fun to eat at.

I'd heard about Ian's from some friends who eat here often so I was anxious to see what all the fuss was about. I've been a long time fan and devotee to Rocky Rococo's pizza since the 80s so winning me over wasn't easy. The pizza at Ian's is fantastic. I'm a new fan and would pick their pizza over... More

We stopped in on a busy Saturday night around 7pm. We luckily found an open table. We zipped through the cafeteria-style line with 4 out of 5 of us getting the mac and cheese pizza. My sons said it's the best pizza they've ever had. Hubby was not as impressed. He's a pepperoni purist, so don't mind him. I created... More

We ordered this pizza at the recommendation of a bartender at the Concourse Hotel. We ended up at their bar after an event and needed some late night grub. Since the bar stopped serving food at 11pm, we ordered Ian's for delivery. After 45 minutes of waiting, we called the pizza joint, and they were able to deliver the pizza... More

When in Madison, and you are looking for pizza (and salads too), look no further. This has turned into a Madison staple in short order and offers up some of the best, New York Style, pizza in the area. There must be at least a dozen different kinds of combinations available, and this will only make a nick in your... More

This is a college institution in Madison and you'll see why once you've had a few slices. They have many unique ideas for their pizza and it's always great. If you go at bar close prepare to wait in line with a bunch of drunk college kids, which isn't bad, but if it's not your vibe then I'd recommend going... More

My friend insisted so we went. He wanted me to know how Ian's supported the protest at the capitol building when the governor killed the unions. The pizza has a few fun ideas, and is good for what is pizza there, but no pizza compares to NY pizza. Out of what is in Madison, this is the pizza place.
