It's okay, and you should go here.

I'm mixed about the Main Street Brewery. Everything was okay and nothing is great. The food was fine, as was the service. The beers (tried 3), were serviceable, but nothing exceptional. If it was located in Denver or Albuquerque I would say, "Skip it." Here's the thing, it's not located there... read more

We arrived in Cortez late on a Thursday night (~9 pm) knowing it would be a challenge to find a place still open that served food. This was our second stop in town in search of food and even though it was after closing time we were thrilled to be seated. Service was prompt and attentive, though not rushed whatsoever.... More

We were in the area to visit Mesa Verde National Park and no where to go on a Monday night. We stumbled upon this place and loved it! We sat in a booth with a view of a sea themed mural over the bar. We had Rocky Mountain trout and fish and chips, it was SO DELICIOUS! We had a... More

Great place to have a beer! Loved the atmosphere! It is in an old building on the main drag in Cortez very charming place. Great selection of beers! The menu had a wide variety of food to please everyone in your party. From burgers to pasta to mexican and pizza. The servers were all very nice.

Our table felt that the food was average and that the server felt as though we were an imposition on her day. We did not try the beer.

This place has some of the best bar food I have ever had. The stuffed mushrooms pretty much filled me up but I added the Beer Battered Fish and it was great. My wife had the pretzel which included the best mustard ever. (Can't believe they don't sell it retail!) Topped it all off with a couple porters. Just a... More

Rolled into Cortez's Ute Mnt. Casino in late sep 2014. Seeing that if we wanted a beer we needed to head up the road. Through tripadvisor we found Main Street Brewery. A truly unique bar/rest/brewery. We enjoyed their various brews & foods for the 2 days we were there and when heading home made a detour to stay in Cortez... More

This single order of fajitas is enough for two. The cooked things come sizzling on a steel platter and the garnishes nicely served on a separate platter. Beef, chicken and shrimp are offered.

I have gone in twice. the first time, I had the worst service and the food was bleh! but then about two months later, we decided to give it another shot. And this time, it was very good service and the food was the best! I would only recommend if they are slow. If you happen to go when the... More
