Great lamb meat balls

I stopped in for dinner and the lamb meat balls were recommended. They were amazing. The sauce on the meat balls complimented the lamb perfectly. The were tender and sweet tasting. There were potatoes but the lamb was the star of the dish.

We had dinner there May 15th. Both of us had Yak burgers, both were cooked to our requests and delicious. Yak is supposedly less fatty than beef but maybe more that buffalo. I had blue cheese on mine so made it difficult to tell the difference just in the taste. The local Dolores brew was good too. Service was fine... More

I ordered the daily special which was presented as risotto with beets and spinach. What I received was a molten magenta colored tasteless mound with tiny bits of beets mixed in. Topped with dollops of goat cheese and 4 spinach leaves. It was so garishly colored that I was asked if it was a dessert. We also had chicken satay... More

We had an awesome lunch here -- ingredients so fresh and food so well prepared. Loved the zucchini fritters salad and the soup of the day.

Food was delicious, service excellent, decor is farmhouse chic. I had their carrot soup which was very tasty and my husband had their chicken pot pie which had a light and flaky pastry and a creamy but not gooey filling with plenty of chicken and veggies .. absolutely yummy and not too salty, as is often the case! Everyone in... More

We were tired of fast food, so we decided to eat locally. I had a Greek salad and my wife had a small Broccoli soup. We split a burger with cheddar cheese. Ingredients were all very fresh and delicious. Service was super! Definitely worth a try.

Not many places in rural towns have vegetarian options. This was just perfect for me. The food was amazing. And the atmosphere was absolutely stunning. I had a wonderful time at this place. Can't wait to visit Cortez again.
