Sometimes when touring in the USA it's hard to find fresh, non-chain food as you travel. The Farm Bistro was excellent - we could easily have chosen several things from the menu. Fresh salads and soups were delicious. The service was excellent too - they were really helpful and friendly. Delighted to have come across The Farm during our brief... More

We were here in mid-May. Bistro is located in an historic bank building on Main St. Tables are close together. Food is locally sourced and prepared fresh. The pasta and the chicken pot pie were very good. The desserts are delicious. The restaurant is very busy so the service is a little slow. They could use 1 or 2 more... More

Ate lunch at the "Farm" today and enjoyed a great burger and tasty fires. Most of the food on the menu is locally harvested and it shows in the quality and taste. Make sure and get some of the freshly squeezed lemonade which is great on a hot day. The staff was friendly and service was quick. Definitely worth a... More

Order first and get your beverage, then choose a table and they will serve. Service can be slow if the Farm is busy, which it often is, but for a reason. The large grilled chicken breast sandwich is delicious and comes with a side.

We ate here a few days ago and it was a very good experience. A nice room in an old renovated bank building. We had steak and vegetables. The steak was very well cooked and the mashed potatoes accompanying were excellent. They put the anise cream sauce on with a table spoon not a soup ladle and it was just... More

GREAT local food served in a casual upscale atmosphere...Lots of surprises- The Beet Chevre Salad was amazing, the locally produced Italian Bratwurst was perfectly Sweet, Homemade hot rolls were delicious and the 'Classic' Country Fried Steak was perfect. We will be back As Soon As Possible.

What a fabulous restaurant! I had the lamb meatballs in curry sauce with potatoes and braised greens with goat cheese. Very reasonable price… And it was one of the best meals I've had in a long time. Great service and ambience. And three cheers for the emphasis on local food. We were so impressed that when my husband noticed people... More

Great menu selection of fresh food and delicious flavor blends. They have potted herbs used for decoration that they clip and use in their recipes on the spot. Exceptional service and tasty desserts too. If you are in Cortez this is the place to eat if you like fresh, happy food. It is easy to miss but worth looking for.
