Never expected to find such a great restaurant in Cortez. The food is fresh and sourced from local farms. I had the lamb meatballs with goat cheese and curry, and it was one of the best meals I have had at a restaurant. The servers were very friendly and the atmosphere was great!

Five of us thoroughly enjoyed this fine restaurant. The server (an attractive, charming middleaged woman, don't know her name) was outstanding. The food was very good and we enjoyed the atmosphere, too. In recent years we've sampled most of the restaurants in Cortez; in our estimation, this is the best.

I had a chicken sandwich. The chicken was cooked through, and still moist. It had very good flavor. The veggies were real fresh. I enjoyed the atmosphere, and got great service. I will go back again.

Fresh, tasty food sourced locally. Great place for conscientious omnivores. Excellent service and atmosphere. More information about the farms from which the products are sourced would have been great (especially animal products).

I had dinner with a good friend just before leaving Cortez for the winter.... she had Steak, I tried the Chicken Pot Pie. Both choices were delicious, and we enjoyed local wines that matched our food perfectly. Looking for a nice dinner out in Cortez Colorado? Try this place! BTW they offered live acoustic guitar music to accompany dinner on... More

Eleven of us ate lunch here on a recent tour of the area. Everyone was pleased with their choices - everything from the coconut/carrot soup to the focaccia bread. The salads were delicious and filling. The room was tastefully decorated. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Wish we would have had time for dessert!

My husband and I are locals and eat here occasionally. We always truly enjoy the food. It is fresh and the grassfed beef burgers with the fresh baked buns are delicious. My one complaint is that this place is absurdly slow at lunchtime so we only go if we have at least an hour to eat. We have been once... More

While visiting Mesa Verde, a woman who lived in Cortez had told us about the Farm Bistro Restaurant. She didn't tell us how small the sign was on the front of the building and we drove right by it. We stopped at the Notah Dineh Trading Post, one of the places we were going, but didn't get there until 2:00... More

Great lunch and dinner, but nothing to write home about. I appreciate that everything is locally grown. Id visit again, and again, if I could afford it.
