While visiting Mesa Verde, a woman who lived in Cortez had told us about the Farm Bistro Restaurant. She didn't tell us how small the sign was on the front of the building and we drove right by it. We stopped at the Notah Dineh Trading Post, one of the places we were going, but didn't get there until 2:00... More

Great lunch and dinner, but nothing to write home about. I appreciate that everything is locally grown. Id visit again, and again, if I could afford it.

Food is local & mostly organic, health conscience menu, No Coke or Pepsi available...but, the Pizza is on point. Eating health and wanna hang out with locals this is the place.

This restaurant was really a surprise. Excellent dishes very well cooked. Different from the usual style in this region of the US. We really enjoyed everyting we ate and drank. The service was friendly and quick and recommended to visit the brewery, from which the beer came, we had. They serve local food from the farms around.

Food was okay. Interesting combinations of farm to fork food, but not as great as the prices might indicate.

Have to start off by giving a huge kudos to our server Gail. She was very articulate and paid attention to what I said. She listened! Following a vegan diet can be tricky but there were 2 entrees on the menu that we could make work. I settled for the risotto with veggies. Not only was it filling, it was... More

Farm fresh; locally sourced (where possible) good food. Nice wine and beer (try local Dolores River Brewing) selection!

The farm bistro is a wonderful place, very cosy and friendly. The food is really superb. We had an arugula salad with blue cheese and a soup for starters. The soup was a revisited version of a Greek salad: a great idea. The chicken and steak we had as main course were also very good. We didn't have any desserts,... More

Enuf said. If you prefer more organic, homegrown food over processed, predictable chain food ....eat here. We went for late lunch and had plenty of choices and it is not strictly vegan but has that healthy feel in general. Don't miss it if you like this type of restaurant. Period.
