a great find in Cortez, CO

Visitors to Mesa Verde can find an excellent restaurant on the main drag in Cortez. Friendly staff, great food, reasonably priced. As the name implies "farm to table" is their focus.

Recommended by our B&B host, and really glad we did. This place is fantastic. The decor is electric and fun. Farm tables for dining in the front part of the place, with a bar and lounge area and pot-belly stove in the rear. There's a rack of used books for sale, a refrigerator case of cupcake delights, displays of herbal... More

Even though it was several months ago that we stopped here, we are still talking about what a lovely find it was inCortez. Everything is prepared and managed with care and precision, yet the atmosphere is comfortable and relaxed. We would go out of our way to eat here again.

We have stopped at The Farm Bistro twice in the last year on road trips. It is a lovely break from fast food. Fresh and healthy. Also, it's all very tasty.

Never expected to find such a great restaurant in Cortez. The food is fresh and sourced from local farms. I had the lamb meatballs with goat cheese and curry, and it was one of the best meals I have had at a restaurant. The servers were very friendly and the atmosphere was great!

Five of us thoroughly enjoyed this fine restaurant. The server (an attractive, charming middleaged woman, don't know her name) was outstanding. The food was very good and we enjoyed the atmosphere, too. In recent years we've sampled most of the restaurants in Cortez; in our estimation, this is the best.

I had a chicken sandwich. The chicken was cooked through, and still moist. It had very good flavor. The veggies were real fresh. I enjoyed the atmosphere, and got great service. I will go back again.

Fresh, tasty food sourced locally. Great place for conscientious omnivores. Excellent service and atmosphere. More information about the farms from which the products are sourced would have been great (especially animal products).

I had dinner with a good friend just before leaving Cortez for the winter.... she had Steak, I tried the Chicken Pot Pie. Both choices were delicious, and we enjoyed local wines that matched our food perfectly. Looking for a nice dinner out in Cortez Colorado? Try this place! BTW they offered live acoustic guitar music to accompany dinner on... More

Eleven of us ate lunch here on a recent tour of the area. Everyone was pleased with their choices - everything from the coconut/carrot soup to the focaccia bread. The salads were delicious and filling. The room was tastefully decorated. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Wish we would have had time for dessert!
