Stopped here for lunch. Prices are high, service was fine, food was the worst meal I've had in years. Gummy hot dog bun, partially frozen fries, cold chile, fry bread was so tough and rubbery that my teeth were literally sqeaking as I tried to rip a piece off and chew. Most of our four lunches ended up in the... More

It is rare that I write negative reviews, but had no choice here. We visited Mesa Verde with our 2 boys and another family. We stopped at the Spruce Tree Terrace Restaurant for lunch. The restaurant staff and manager were professional and nice, and the food was good, although there was no ice for the drinks that day. The prices... More

We were so happy to find the Spruce Tree after having a horrid experience at Far View Terrace. There was a very nice variety of foods and an obvious pride in craft from the people that worked here. We were greeted happily as we walked in to the cafeteria and we were treated as if we were the most important... More

I was given a taste of the white chicken chili before ordering it and it was DELICIOUS!!! The cornbread fresh out of the oven was a nice and yummy addition. My husband ordered a chicken wrap that he said was good. The portion was large. We left feeling very satisfied.

A good place to eat while in the park. Nice variety of food and well liked by the family. Try the Navajo taco.

Walk down yourself. No need to pay to go into this one. There are usually helpful Park Rangers down there to provide you with all the info you may need to know....A must see!

Oh dear, the folks at national parks seem to work in a time warp (not our only encounter with excruciatingly slow service on this trip). The cafe is counter service, where it took 20 minutes for me to get to the front of a small line. I know it's not McDonald's, but they should be able to speed up taking... More

I expected to pay a premium cost for the convenience of dining at Spruce Tree House but did not expect the mostly lousy food. The chicken on the Southwest chicken salad was like jerky. The pizza was burnt. The hot dog and chips were decent. The fry bread was fresh and really quite tasty. Nice touch: the self-serve drink dispenser... More

Stopped in for a sandwich while spending most of the day in the park. Service was decent and food was made to order.

We wanted a quick lunch so we could continue our exploration of Mesa Verde National Park, so we both ordered hotdogs. I had coleslaw with mine, my husband had chips. What could go wrong? The buns were cold and gummy, hotdog was skimpy (for the price). My coleslaw had absolutely no taste whatsoever. Chips were stale. Thank goodness we could... More
