Been coming here since it was Spruce Tree Coffee House. Look forward to it every trip, wish they had a location where I live. Coffee was excellent, not too sweet, not too bitter, not too anything - just perfect. Staff was AWESOME, setting was very cute and architectural. What can I say I just love this place!

The staff are friendly and the Chai was delicious!! Laid back atmosphere :) We sat outside in their back patio and we asked if our dog could sit with us and they were totally fine with that! Dog friendly a big plus with us!!

I woke early to do some landscape photography in the Cortez area and I happened to stumble into the Spruce Tree Espresso House. The atmosphere is 60's style. The Cappuccino was excellent along with a pastry I wolfed down. Turned out to be a great morning!

Stopped for my morning coffee and it was great. Good coffee, friendly employee and open at 6 am when I needed them. And less expensive than the chain shop. Wish we had more days to try a lunch as it's an attractive business.

We stopped here on our way through town looking for breakfast and coffee. There were 8 of us ordering breakfast and we were served quickly. The specialty coffees were good and the staff was friendly. The cinnamon rolls are to die for!

We had two breakfasts and one lunch at the Spruce Tree Coffeehouse. Because my husband is a vegan and I am a vegetarian, this was our best option in Cortez. We enjoyed bagels with peanut butter for breakfast. I had a great cappuccino and my husband and I both enjoyed a couple of chais with almond milk. We loved the... More

Local coffee shops are my favorite. You can always taste the difference in it. Not much to say i loved the coffee but i wass in a rush to finish my trip so ileft quickly. everyone was very kindhearted toward me as i was probably being rude(accidentally) in my rush.

We stumbled on this coffee shop while driving through Cortez on the way to Mesa Verde. We’re so happy we stopped here instead of the neighboring Starbucks. Our drinks (cappuccino and espresso) were expertly made but the friendly barista. We stopped by the following morning for breakfast and were also impressed with the bagel breakfast sandwiches. This was a great... More
