What a great place to stop for coffees, teas, and food! My family and I were traveling through Cortez and saw this place. We stopped and were greeted so warmly by Sharon and Sera. The coffee and tea choices were excellent, well made, and very affordable. Food was so yummy too! Great burritos and bagels made to order. This is... More

Excellent coffee. Great spaces to hang out. Good background music. Friendly and gracious staff. Tasty treats and light breakfast or lunch. Beats the hell outta the usual sterile chain coffee shops in every regard.

Family members recommended this coffee house and I'm glad they did. I'm typically a latte drinker, but based on a chart displayed at the Spruce Tree, I decided to try a 'Flat White'... it was a delicious balance of espresso and milk and pretty much my new fave drink. Got mine to-go, but the seating looked inviting and the service... More

This is a pretty good coffee shop. Has the general things you would expect for a local Mom & Pop type coffee shop. Decent food, good coffee, and a mix of other assorted choices. The have a nice outdoor seating area, both covered and uncovered. It was very pleasant even on the hotter days (around 92 degrees) to sit in... More

Cute little house with areas to enjoy your coffee. They have many interesting drink combinations and all the alternative milk choices. I use almond milk in my coffee, so that was a plus for me. The coffee is strong too. They also have bagels, eggs, and burritos which were also good. Perfect place to hang out and wait for the... More

With few cafe options in Cortez we were happy to find this bright and easy going cafe. We are fussy about our coffee and were not disappointed. We were one of the first in but by the time we left the place was filling up with many regulars as well as visitors. The kitchen made a nice breakfast burrito for... More

Great little place. It was great to have a place to go with an experienced barista and a friendly attitude. The seating area in the back is a great outdoor area, quaint. It's one of the only places to stop for coffee for miles! Give it a try!

The gals behind the counter were smiling, friendly, and seemed to be having a good time. The decaf iced mocha had an anise flavor that I didn't care for, but otherwise was good. The bagel breakfast sandwich and scone were yummy. The house has brightly colored rooms. I can't put my finger on it, but it felt a bit sparse.... More

This place makes you want to curl up with a good cuppa and just relax, read, use the wifi. A great place to spend a spare few minutes or hours enjoying.
