Good service, good food, nothing fancy. Jack and Janelle serve standard old fashioned breakfast with all the cholesterol and no frills. My coffee cup remained full, my eggs were over easy, my daughter's pancakes were fresh off the griddle and the bacon was crisp. They serve butter with toast, cream with coffee and service with a smile. The staff is... More

I wasn't real impressed about the outside of the building. Thought it was going to be a dive. I was wrong. Home cooking. Unique menu items--sandwiches that were out of the ordinary. I'd go there again in a heartbeat. And the waitress and the owners (I assume they were the owners) were friendly and greeted us. The food had to... More

A mom and pop family restaurant that serves good home cooking. The meatloaf and mashed potatoes hit the spot after chain restaurant food all week. The highlight was the fresh warm apple pie for $2.50. Splurge and get the ice cream on top for 50 cents more. YUM

We had dinner here for my husbands birthday and it was great. Food was plain but good and portions huge. After the meal the staff & proprietors surprised us with happy birthday ice cream with a candle. Very nice & very reasonable cost.

The food was terrible, they forgot my soup. I ordered french onion soup...when you order french onion soup you expect cheese and bread on the soup because that is what makes it FRENCH onion instead of just onion. Well apparently these people have no clue what FRENCH onion soup is. When I finally got it it was Luke warm and... More

We stopped in for breakfast and were pleasantly surprised to see a salad bar being set up for lunch. The prices seemed low. We ordered salad and soup bar, breakfast buffet, and a burger. The waitress seemed efficient and was quick to meet our needs. The only complaint was the slop masquerading as soup. Green chili heavy with flour thickener... More

So, I really have mixed reviews about this place, but first & foremost the food was great. It is a mom & pop place with homemade food- yea! You cannot get a bad breakfast item here & you can tell it is home made. I will say that it is dirty…it really needs a cleaning. I wish I hadn't have... More

We went here twice for breakfast - mostly because the food is really good. The service not so much. We had to ask several times for water and coffee refills. I finally got up to get my own coffee on our second visit. That was on a weekday and it was definitely NOT super busy.

Great Burger and yummy big breakfast the next day. Our waitresses grand daughter was also working and as she was a year younger than my daughter and the place wasn't very busy we were ably to chat a bit. One big reason I enjoy patronizing Mom and Pop type establishments. Good food and very nice people.

Stopped for dinner at the suggestion of the motel. Bit of a mistake. Not the cleanest or best looking place. Salad bar was fair, not much to choose from. Food was fair but hot. Wouldn't go back.
