We went here twice for breakfast - mostly because the food is really good. The service not so much. We had to ask several times for water and coffee refills. I finally got up to get my own coffee on our second visit. That was on a weekday and it was definitely NOT super busy.

Great Burger and yummy big breakfast the next day. Our waitresses grand daughter was also working and as she was a year younger than my daughter and the place wasn't very busy we were ably to chat a bit. One big reason I enjoy patronizing Mom and Pop type establishments. Good food and very nice people.

Stopped for dinner at the suggestion of the motel. Bit of a mistake. Not the cleanest or best looking place. Salad bar was fair, not much to choose from. Food was fair but hot. Wouldn't go back.

The service was awesome. They were friendly and fast. The food was delicious. The portions were worth the price and you will definitely be full when you leave. They have a salad bar. They are located on the highway. It's a good place to stop. One thing that got me was the bathroom door and how it was labeled. Overall... More

This place looks kind of junky, but the staff is quite friendly and they serve good food at great prices--at least if they still have any left (they were out of some items when I was there). The low prices are their best feature!

We stopped for a quick breakfast but wound up staying longer then expected because the menu had everything we haven't had in a long time. The waitress was late so the owner was waiting tables and talking with everyone. Very enjoyable. Got on the table very funny books by a local named Ben Goode. The one I started reading was... More

Stopped by this great little down home place for lunch while traveling. We found friendly staff and good service and fairly clean on our visit. The BLT sandwich with Avocado was truly a real taste treat. Met the owner and found out he was the opening head chef at Red Lyons in Bellevue, WA some 40 years ago. Left Red... More

As mentioned by others, there are very few options in Cortez for breakfast unless you want a breakfast burrito. This provided a nice alternative. I wish there was something between three and four stars, though. Although the food was good (both my husband and I had omelettes), it was not very warm. Neither was the coffee. If both had been... Friendly staff and yummy breakfast cooked to order. Can't go wrong with that. We ate there for breakfast twice and were never disappointed.

Grubby. Staff and servers wore dirty clothes. Salad bar had limp ingredients, including soggy croutons. Had to go through several plates to find a clean one. French dip was stringy beef indifferently slapped on a soggy roll.
