I wish I had read the reviews before my wife and I visited here. We had 7pm reservations and all night, there were only two other tables in the dining room occupied. We were in Hot Springs on an anniversary trip, and thought a local restaurant would be nice. In Dallas, at the best restaurants, a Surf and Turf would... more

We were in Hot Springs, AR last friday. I read about this restaurant in Tripadvisor and thought taking my wife. Ordered Orange Roughe and Wife ordered Crab cake. Food was ok. definitely not worth the price. I guess there are not many fine dining choices in HS, AR. Hence not much competetion I guess. Dessert was not worth it. We... more

We ate at Chef Paul's on a Friday and the food was wonderful, service was OK. The next night we came back to have drinks in the lounge. After being ignored by all of the waitstaff for 20 mintues, we asked the hostess if someone could help us. No one came by to take our order, so we left after... more

Ate here on 3/5/09. Sea bass perfectly cooked, my veal and scallops was very good, veal was a little sinewy, but scallops were perfection. Crab cake app. was not lump crab but more of a mousse, 4 star; salad and dressing outstanding. Had a Spatlase from 07 for $30.00 Wonderful meal for 125.00. Only food complaint was risotto was not... more

I have dined many times at Chef Pauls. They always deliver on a great meal and exceptional service. Wine dinners are not to be missed. Great winelist with excellent recommendations by staff. The place is not cheap but if you are looking for a cheap meal go to Taco Bell. The Fillet is usually what I stick with and you... more

We had Thanksgiving Dinner at Chef Pauls and everyone was very pleased. I would recommend this to anyone. Admittedly, the meal contained some items that many people will not like such as beets and brussels sprouts, but I happen to like pretty much all foods. The food was well prepared, the restaurant was as pretty in person as it is... more

BEST IN CITY. Chef Paul (along with Jean Claude Bridoux at the Hot Springs Country Club) are arguably the two finest chefs in Hot Springs. Every dish at Chef Paul's had something of Paul's signature on it, and all his dishes were consistently unique and flavorful. I believe the mark of a chef's true excellence can always be found in... more

This overpriced, underwhelming restaurant promises a lot and delivers very little. For such an ostenisbily "high end" restaurant-- and one with exorbitant prices--the quality of the ingredients is seriously lacking. The bready crab cake had canned crab, for example. And the chocolate that came with the bill -- an attempt at some sort of finesse-- was supermarket Hershey's! Literally, Hershey's!... more

.....we had the "prixe fixe" menu and the portions were a little small. Otherwise, the food was great. more

The food was fantastic and the service was great. My only complaint was that the night we were there, they had almost as many "specials" as they did on the regular menu. (at least 6 specials) As the waitress listed off the nightly specials, she never mentioned how much they were.....we had to ask. But, when it was time for... more
