Still the same awesome barbecue. Yes, the sauce has a vinegar bite to it. Barbecue varies by region. Some reviewers complained about the randomness of the seating. When we were here back in the 90's the tradition was that when it looked like someone was finishing up you went and stood by their table. When they left, you would sit... More

I get tickled reading some of the comments from first time customers Some complain that parking is limited . I cannot figure why that keeps coming up. If they would just look around they would see an enormous parking lot in back that has parking galore . The old saying "be aware of your surroundings@ Comes to mind Some say... More

They don't make it easy to get in. You sometimes have to stand in line. Doesn't matter to me because we normally take out. If you are a tourist it is worth the visit just to have visited such a historic place in Hot Springs. It is Bill Clinton's favorite barbecue and he used to have it shipped to the... More

BBQ so sweet should be illegal. My vegetarian son became a carnivore here!!! The history of this place is amazing!! There is quick service, and great food!! I cannot wait to return.

If you like a strong vinegar tasting sauce and meat with no smoke flavor and very little crustiness (both essential to good BBQ) then you will like this place. Beans taste like ranch camp beans and are very mushy. No nice crusty bread to soak up sauce. A few saltine crackers. Tamale is ok, but also mushy. I did not... More

People all over town smell the meat as it's being smoked and it's mouth watering! Then add the spicy sauce and it's absolutely the best in the land. Most people from Hot Springs grew up eating this bbq and prefer over all the other's who've come to town. If you're new to Hot Springs, you may need to be sure... More

After having Stubby's the other day, we had to try McClard's for comparison. Stubby's wins hands down. McClard's meat was cut too thick, dry, and not nearly as tender. Their BBQ sauce left a strong vinegar flavor. The only sides available on the plates are beans and cole slaw. We didn't like the flavor of either of those. Table service... More

Me and my family were in Hot Springs for the day and thought we would try this place because we heard it was good. Wrong! Wrong! Wrong! It was the worse barbecue we have ate. Services was so bad. And workers were not friendly at all. Price to high for what we got. The baked beans were so bad we... More

I had read about McClards BBQ in Hot Springs, , also had read it was Bill Clinton's favorite. I was so disappointed , it was the worst bbq I have ever eaten , the beans were so bad we could not choke them down, Something must have happened -new owners or something , because some say it was good, our...
