People all over town smell the meat as it's being smoked and it's mouth watering! Then add the spicy sauce and it's absolutely the best in the land. Most people from Hot Springs grew up eating this bbq and prefer over all the other's who've come to town. If you're new to Hot Springs, you may need to be sure... More

After having Stubby's the other day, we had to try McClard's for comparison. Stubby's wins hands down. McClard's meat was cut too thick, dry, and not nearly as tender. Their BBQ sauce left a strong vinegar flavor. The only sides available on the plates are beans and cole slaw. We didn't like the flavor of either of those. Table service... More

Me and my family were in Hot Springs for the day and thought we would try this place because we heard it was good. Wrong! Wrong! Wrong! It was the worse barbecue we have ate. Services was so bad. And workers were not friendly at all. Price to high for what we got. The baked beans were so bad we... More

I had read about McClards BBQ in Hot Springs, , also had read it was Bill Clinton's favorite. I was so disappointed , it was the worst bbq I have ever eaten , the beans were so bad we could not choke them down, Something must have happened -new owners or something , because some say it was good, our... I would not call this BBQ. Just because you put sauce on meat doesn't make BBQ Save your money and go to Rolands. It's next to the race track you will not be disappointed. Rolands even has BBQ music on.

Although we have had a second home on Lake Hamilton since 2007, we had never eaten at Hot Springs', arguably, best known eating establishment. We went to McClard's for lunch and were pleasantly surprised by how tasty the good was. The only complaints involve the convoluted parking and the fact that the have no rational system for seating customers. The... More

Very good food and large portions. Small building so be prepared to wait. Service was slow but it was so crowded. Overall food was very good and would def go back.

We are big BBQ fans and have visited several well known restaurants and were hoping to add this one to our list. We were disappointed in the BBQ here. It was okay but not great. The ribs were kind of rubbery, dry and had no flavor. They have better ribs at Chili's.

I was excited to eat here after seeing that it was such a popular spot, I was pretty sure that it would be great. The building was kind of cool, it was an old dated diner feel that still had the old lunch counter along with several booths and tables. We got in fairly quick for as busy as they... More
