McClard's is awesome! Guess you just have to be a true southerner to appreciate it fully. I go there whenever I can.. consider it a treat! Always order a half of a tamale spread (goes great with a beer in those cute little glasses).... and save the other half of my half for lunch the next day..... yummmmeeee... those tamale... more

Don't order the "whole spread", especially if you're a "northerner." It was a huge conglomeration of stuff piled together on a plate. It was really sickening. The ribs were good though. more
