Good food...strange tipping procedure

Had breakfast here on a business trip and reallyenjoyed the food. Everything was cooked properly, very little grease, even considering we were eating breakfast. We enjoyed our breakfast and the people that worked here. So much food and great flavors and impeccable service. My new favorite breakfast place in Hot Springs.

I had eaten here years ago and had the buckwheat waffle. Afterwards I tried making them myself at home and they didn't come close to the memory. This time I had them add pecans and it was just as delicious as I remembered. Somewhere through the meal I realized the server had refilled my coffee yet again and I very... More

Went to this place due to word of mouth. When we arrived it was some what busy but we were # 2 on line. The older lady at the door who was the owner told us she only had a 2 butt minimum and we would need to stand outside. It was some what cold that day. So we went... More

Stand in line, it's a pain but worth it. My favorite aspect was that they seated us with strangers and we had a very eclectic, amazing breakfast conversation. Ok, sure, everyone else gets bacon, eggs ,sausage, pancakes... Yawn. I ordered an omelette w spinach, basil, feta... Meow. It was steeped in olive oil and freakin' amazing. Ok, here's where it... We ate here two mornings in a row. The first trip we tried, between two people, the buckwheat waffle, biscuits with white gravy, sausage patties and hash browns with peppers and onions. Our waitress suggested pecans in the waffle, and it was an excellent suggestion. The biscuit was light and fluffy, the gravy good. The sausage was good and the... More

Race day but we decided to go late and do some shopping. Decided to split a breakfast and it was delicious. Eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy!! Good service, clean and really good food. Just enough!!

The breakfast is wonderful. We were very satisfied with our meal. The only thing I would suggest is the waitress have a bit more personality? I don't know the circumstances, maybe they were under staffed? Other than that, we loved it and will be back!

This is the best place downtown to have breakfast. The food is fresh and very good. They make the best Western omelette I have ever eaten. There is nothing myself or my husband have tried here that has not been good. Small quaint place and always good service.

I found this place to be almost as disappointing as the other place we ate at down the street. Very average and not so clean looking. I will be sticking to IHOP the next time I go to Hot Springs.
