We ate here after a long day digging for diamonds! Our party was in the mood for some non-heavy food and we were surprised at how good and fresh the salads were (and of course the catfish was excellent too). The only thing to note is that if its your first trip there - order first at the counter, get... More

Stopped for our burger fix... Still hand formed patty, crisp lettuce, tomato and pickle on a warm bun. Patty overlaps the bun so every bite contains meat. So juicy I used 6 paper towels from the roll on our table. Hot crunchy fries and their famous Whisker Roumelade sauce....better than ketchup for fries. So glad this is nearby.

The first time we visited, I wasn't thrilled with the place; I thought it was a bit slow and surly. Every time since, though, the service has been stellar and the food excellent, so I'm confident my first experience was an aberration (or my mood may have been to blame). The time between ordering at the counter and having the... More

Everything was delicious, including sides and sauces. Scott was very nice and super apologetic that they had sold out of Bread Pudding. I will come back, as it's rumored to be the best in the World!

Ate lunch at Mr. Whiskers; a return visit. Wanted to try the ribs so ordered the 4 pc rib with green tomato relish and a side salad. We also ordered the 4 pc fish with fries and slaw. Overall an enjoyable meal. My wife added their house vinaigrette to the salad that was very good with lots of herbs. Fish... More

The food was outstanding. A little hard to find but well worth the effort. The staff was friendly, and they seemed to be having a good time. It was very busy and very full. Be a little patient and you will get great rewards. Reasonably priced.

Catfish and shrimp were delish. Arrived there late just before closing and were told no problem. Difficult to find but worth the trip.

bowl of black bean came with my order. Thought I was back in Mexico?? What happen to the dry pinto beans with onions, garlic, cooked slow with some good smokie Ham base? Now that would of been good with his KFC style slaw. If he did it right he would get orders of Pints to Go...But...and the fish was good,... More

I ordered catfish and my wife ordered a hamburger. Food came out in about 15 min kinda long because they were not busy. Fish was ok but was soft not crispy how I like it and my fries were cold. My wife's burger was pretty good. Hushpuppies were the frozen kind. Not bad not great. Atmosphere was as good as... More

We tried both the catfish and oyster--the breading was light and crispy and the flavor good. We didn't try the shrimp, but watched the guys in the kitchen shelling them before frying--a good sign of fresh not frozen shrimp. It's a little hard to find since it is tucked in a nondescript shopping center.
