Wife and I had lunch at Taco Mamas. We had a hard time getting someone to seat us. We waited over 5 minutes before anyone would acknowledge us being there. It seemed as though no one was in charge. We did finally get seated and the service was great. Chips and salsa were great. I had the Mexican cocktail. It... More

Green Chili burger is the amazing as well as corn quesadillas on appetizer menu. Always a wonderful experience and a must stop for us when in Hot Springs!

We went there last night, a Tuesday. They were more crowded than I expected. And short staffed. Took forever to get waited on. Server served us the wrong drinks. Entrees were wrong and took forever to come out. Salsa was good, chips were good. Can't say much for the puffy taco, the bottom fell out when I picked it up.... More

Everyone who lives in Hot Springs already knows this is the best, fresh Mexican food in town. Tourist need to make the off the beaten path effort to check this out. Diana Bratton has won numerous chef awards for her creations for this restaurant and also for the next door neighbor restaurant Café 1217. Her fresh salsas, especially the habanero... More

I'm a local and LOVE this place! The food is impeccable! Taco Mama has food with robust flavor and it has a full bar! What more could you ask for? Located slightly off the beaten path (1217 Malvern ave), about a mile from downtown. My wife and I, both love this place.

The bar is made of Mexican style carved wood and the overall atmosphere is perfect for drinking. My steak tacos were good but not enough to come back for. My parents enjoyed their Chili Rellenos and said they were good enough to eat again. For dessert we had both the flan and the Churros with chocolate dip. The flan was... More

Everything tasted homemade - one of the best chili rellenos plate I've had. It was pan fried. Delicious rice - could eat that by itself. Good roasted salsa but also has a salsa bar.

This place was recommended to us by the Wildwood B&B. It is said to be the best Tex Mex around. I had the combination with tamale and enchilada and my husband had the tamale and puffy taco. Everything was very delicious. Way better than typical mexican restaurants where you aren't for sure what is in the ground meat. Service was... More

We ran across this place by accident and gave it a try. The food was amazing. I had chorizo and eggs that were better than I have ever had. They were flavorful and moist. I loved it. We didn't even make it to the salsa bar. We will have to try that next time because we will be back.

Love the salsa bar...the grilled jalapeños, freshest chips, hot sauce and queso. Gourmet Mexican all the way!
