AFTER waiting an hour for our food (the waitress informed us that a party of 30 took precident over our order) three of the five meals were cold. We have eaten at Cajun Boilers often and this last visit may just be our last.

This is a busy local place. When we arrived, they told us the wait would be 30 minutes, we were seated in no more than 10 minutes. I love the fried shrimp, my friends enjoyed the oysters on the half shell. The red snapper was nicely spiced but just on the dry side. My suggestion would be if you prefer...

Ate lunch here with my husband during our annual Hot Springs trip. Cajun Boilers doesn't look like much on the outside, but they know how to fry shrimp! We had the fried shrimp, salads (house dressing peppercorn ranch), potatoes (baked and grilled new potatoes) with onion straws as an appetizer. Everything was delicious. We are never here when it is...

I've eaten at Cajun Boilers on several trips to Hot Springs. Usually there is a long wait, service is so-so, but food is reliably great! We ate there last night with friends and did not have a wait, although the place was really busy. Our waitress was taking care of the whole room we were seated in. Luckily, she was...

Had dinner here with the family recently during a visit to Hot Springs. Really enjoyed the food. I had the fried shrimp, which was lightly batterd and fried crisp without being too greesey. Hubs had the frog legs which he thought were wonderful. Nothing about this restaurant is fancy, but the service was good, the restaurant was clean and we...

We spent 4 hours there trying to get something to eat. Waitress was terrible, some food was not good (some was) and it just ain't all that !
I have lived in Hot Springs my entire life, and I had never eaten here. I know now that it was for my own good. We are seated immediately upon arrival, and drink and appetizer orders taken. We place food orders after receiving drinks and appetizers. 30-45 minutes later, our server brings our food to the table, and proceeds to...

I love the idea of Cajun Boilers; I just don't have that great experience I'm expecting when I'm there and it disappoints me. I don't like the smell and probably one of the reasons is that I can't identify it - it's somewhere between a fish smell, a dirty laundry smell and sour milk smell. The wine is served in...

Rustic facility but very clean. Extensive seafood menu, both for lunch and dinner. The prices are reasonable, and food is freshly prepared. You have a choice of getting you fish highly, medium or unseasoned (cajun). Make sure to specify when you order.
