Nice Breakfast Place

Stopped and had breakfast and enjoyed the experience. Would go back again. Not sure what, or if, they have for lunch but enjoyed the breakfast.

was told by friends that it was a good place and they were correct. Had pancakes and bacon and sat at the counter stools. Good service and quick compared to how busy they were

The Pancake Shop is great across the board. Good coffee, service, and some of the best bacon and sausage I've ever had -- anywhere. This place is well worth the wait, and is easy as you can shop next door and they will come and find you when your table is ready.

I can always count on great breakfast at a good price. Coffee is good, hot. Variety of pancakes to choose from. Rustic charm.

Great food and service, the place has been in business for 75 years. They just celebrated their anniversary. I loved getting my coffee served in a cup with saucer. They brought you water in a little 6 oz glass with asking for it. Reminded me of the way cafes were 40 years ago.

Delicious breakfast and a break from the ubiquitous chain restaurants. Buckwheat pancakes were tasty. The apple butter tasted home made. The ham served on my plate was huge, thick, and juicy.

We ate here after reading the reviews on tripadvisor. Boy! Am I glad we did!! We ended up eating here two mornings in a row. Between the two meals we tried the blueberry pancakes (amazing), the grits (some of the best!), regular pancakes (light and fluffy), scrambled eggs (the real deal), toast, and the SAUSAGE <--- best sausage I have... Bring your appetite! We visited this weekend with a party of 6. Called ahead to put us on the waiting list. Upon arrival, wait time was under 10 minutes. Plate sized pancakes are always great. Sausage patties and ham steak also incredible. Eggs cooked to order and cooked to perfection. Orange Juice is the best there is and is freshly... More

Thanks Meredith for your review of the Pancake Shop. Glad you came back to enjoy our 75 years of tradition. You brought up a point we do discuss - the whole plate thing. We get it !! Change comes slow to 75 year olds!! Next time tell your server to bring it out on fewer plates!! :) Tina More

There was a wait but it wasn't bad. We were sent to their store next door to wait. My husband ordered pancakes, I ordered an omelet. They weren't the best we've had but they were good. Everyone was friendly and despite being busy, we were taken care of. It is located down town, street parking.

Greet food & service. Great price with big portions. Went with a group of 9 friends. They seated us at 2 tables near each other which was fine. Small place, but would definitely go again!!
