This place is now closed :( it was great while I lasted. Not sure if it closed because of inconvenient location, the ugly external building, or because this town just doesn't have quite enough forward thinking diners, but it was delightful. I do hope the owners will take the concept up to columbus where I have no doubt it would... More

Dakota's is a local chain of faux Western roadhouses. They have a pretty good menu and I can usually find something appealing. The problem is consistency, especially with their steaks. My wife and I usually order the filet and one time it will be fantastic and maybe the next, not worth leaving home for. They are popular and most times... More

I admit that I didn't expect much, especially from the outside of the restaurant (and from its location). There weren't any other customers there when I arrived. So I was surprised when the food arrived and it actually *was* spicy (I ordered it 5 out of 5 spicy). Actually, even too spicy for me!!! As I write this review, my... More

Island Spice Cafe was recommended to our group and we ate there twice in 3 days. The spicy tortilla chips are worth the trip by themselves. The crab cakes were outstanding as was the service. We'll be going back on our next visit.

I've tried the rest and Island Spice serves the best. If you have only been here once I guarantee you will want to come back. I have tried everything on the lunch menu and found every item uniquely different and delicious. I have had quite a few items on the evening menu and planning on trying the rest.

Great atmosphere, great food, amazing prices! I love the Raspberry Chipotle BBQ burger and my man loves, loves, loves the Philly Cheesesteak burger! The sides are amazing, the Cinna Strips are sooooo yummy. I could eat there everyday...alas, I only get this amazing food when I come into town.

If you're tired of cookie cutter restaurants, you will want to dine at the Island Spice cafe. The hostess was very knowledgeable with the menu and its preparation, our waitress was extremely pleasant and the owner came to talk with us discussing her menu, spices and her desire to make available a different style of cooking not offered by the... My wife and i loved this place...the mojo steak was awesome, the three-way chill/spaghetti, and the fried tortilla chips with the special seasoning are out of this world. The server darian was very knowledgeable about all the dishes...and if you get a chance to speak with angel the proprietor, it will make your meal complete. She cares about the preparation... More

Don't judge this restaurant by its exterior! If you did, you'd keep on driving and miss some fantastic food. The restaurant is now located on Bridge Street in an old dive bar. The decor may be college-dorm tiki room but the food is simply amazing. We four had absolutely no complaints and many compliments on the food. The raspberry chipotle... More
