Classical tourist restaurant.

We were not impressed, we ordered chinese dishes but the management wish to meet all type of foods has resulted in loosing the identity of their own cuisine, which is a bery rich one. They have chinese food in the list, served only in the evening, curry food only for lunch. Western food only for... read more

Stopped here as we needed a break from our drive from Kandy. Lured in by the sign that said cappuccino, big mistake, long life milk with a lot of foam, I couldn't drink mine. We also ordered fried rice and chicken and cashews very ordinary, on the taste scale would not rate. Other half thought he might ask about the... More

We ended up here in a haze of low bloodsugar and super hungry. Food was edible but no experience. also quite expensive. A definite tourist trap. Streetfood and "hotels" in the area had much better meals. The restaurant itself was as uncharming as it gets. Staff were nice and efficient though.

Their portions were small, expensive for what was served. Not worth the trip, better restaurants around. The waiter gave us old glasses which he held under a running tap, was rude to our guide because our guy was dressed different, he was like any other hill country local. The sizzles looked burnt, avoid them.

We had one lunch here and since we had eaten at De Silva (next door), we found this place relatively less clean and less quality of service. Judge for yourself, not a bad place however.

We thought the food would be good because the restaurant was full and the food was more expensive than what Lonely Planet had advised. However, service was terrible, the food was awful and flavourless. The mains were incomplete and completely overpriced. They have taken advantage of their Lonely Planet recommendation. Please avoid this restaurant and save your money.

Very bad food, very bad service and not clean. You could swear, they don't have any fresh meat, chicken or fish! The only things you will be able to eat are veg and rice and both not tasty. DO NOT GET TRAPPED BY THE CROWD! WE THOUGHT CROWD = TASTY FOOD BUT TURN TO BE WRONG AT MILANO!

They almost had nothing, no beef, some drinks where finished. We had a fried rice, it tasted like nothing and couldn't find the chicken in the dish. It was also dirty. Not comparable with the hotel.

This was a decent find where restaurants appear to be limited. Friendly waiters and a reasonable selection of Chinese/Sri Lankan food although the menu was limited.

We ate lunch at this restaurant, although it was very busy, we were treated with excellent service. We had 2 chicken combos which were priced at 850 Rs but it was worth the money, because we were given a lot of food.
