Smart but not uncomfortably so

We had a lovely dinner here last week. The setting is formal but definitely not uncomfortable and the prices are very reasonable. We did the 2,500 rupee set menu and were very disappointed. Salad was fine, soup was fine but main and dessert were awful. My fish / langoustine dish was severely over cooked. A different kind of pleasant exoerience while staying at this wooden hotel which is operational of producing tea. Stay area is at 1st floor at periphety where you can see machineries running. Lovely hotel to stay or stop for a snack or lunch. Friendly staff and good food. Lovely surroundings and you can pick your own tea to package and take home!

This unique hotel has retained many of the original features of the tea factory, enhanced by some ingenious architectural features that create a truly unique atmosphere. Stay at the tea factory hotel...it is a unique experience....an actual tea factory turned into a hotel and restaurant......awesome experience....watch the old tea making machines operate in the evening....use the old elevator. Luxurious...5 star.....great service.

Wide range of delicious food. Amazing environment, the interior decoration, climate, etc. Excellent staff and waitress always around to support and overwatch. Buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner also they serve a la card.
