Average food but expensive

The taste of he food is average. Most of them are Chinese food and Asian food, but they are quite expensive. It is better to have seafood in the coast area.

Great Chinese restaurant inside the GLENDOWER hotel. You will fill in and other country if you were traveling for many days in Sri Lanka, a good place to forget about the rice and curry. Do not ask for the large plates unless you are really really hungry and are more than 4 or 6 people

Unfortunatly we did not enjoy any of the dishes we ordered (the chicken fried rice was not tasty as expected, beef was too cooked and the soup a little watered). We were quite disapointed about the restaurant and the guides that recommend it. Even though the before mentioned, the service was gentle.

Good menu choice and tasty food especially the sweet and sour. Service was excellent a very enjoyable experience. Vegetarian options a bit limited as they had ran out of bean curd and other dishes. Overall pretty good if craving Chinese food

We were with another family and they had eaten in this place earlier. We were surprised by how European the hotel was. The flowers and the architecture was an all European experience. We were late when we arrived and we were the only guests. The restaurant itself looked wonderful and clean. The food was very good too. We ordered their... More

We ate here as we were staying in the hotel (so no trouble finding it). Found it lacking in atmosphere as we were the only ones there but that wasnt their fault. Good service and we liked the choice of food size small, medium or large, great idea (even the small was a very generous portion so unless you have... More

This restaurant is impossible to find - we searched for it for an hour or so but it was not where the map indicated. Stay away otherwise you will waste your time. Needs significantly better signage.

If you want to have Chinese food in Nuwara Eliya cool climate this is the place. Food is tasty though its not hot. If you are a Sri Lankna looking to typical Chinese food better tell in advance to make it more hot. Portions are quite small compared to Colombo places. The restaurant name is not visible to outside since... More

We always have the take away Chinese lunch here. Its a large tasty portion. They take the order over the phone. Remember to take plastic spoons if you plan on a picknick lunch in the park!

We had read about this in guide books, so when in Nurawa Eliya went in search of it. I must say it is quite hard to find, no signage at all, we only found it as I had read it was in the Glendower Hotel. We were really impressed, a bit of a mixed metaphor as when you went in,... More
