We came across this place earlier in the day whilst exploring. They said to get there at 6.20pm, 10 minutes before it opens for dinner as they get quite busy. So we of course turned up at 6.30 on the dot and there were no tables (oops, should have listened). Waited for an hour for a table. SO worth it.... More

I don't want to offend anyone's habits but, it's not nice being seated on a table meanwhile the Hindu guy on the nearby table is burping load all the time. Unfortunately this was not the only one burping on the restaurant, but he was the closest. Regarding the food was O, we asked for tandori chicken. Unfortunately was Poya Day,... More

In this city, restaurants are limited. But thank god this one is so good! Although it can be croudy, make sure to go there from the minute it opens! Prices are low, for about 3000LKR, for 2 persons, you have a full stomach :-)

Great change from Sri Lankan curries! Food was delicious! Staff were extremely attentive and their bright yellow outfits looked great!! Everything was perfect! Highly recommended!

Dreadful food, dreadful service, everyone was complaining. Why there are some good reviews is a mystery to me. A nightmare.

Perfect service, perfect ambiance and good prices (around 7 dollar for à main course). The portion for me was enough, but I can imagine that it might be a bit to small for "big eaters". I would definitely go back.

We patronised the Grand Indian followed with a big appetite beside. The restaurant has a charming and simple decor. The menu looked good but pricey. We were with a party of approx 10 and had to sit separately. No one else was in the restaurant and we were keen to sit together; we asked if they could accommodate us but... More

Our group walked over here from the Windsor Hotel and were pleased to get a table before the place filled up. We were just as delighted to get timely efficient service, good food and reasonable prices, so unlike the disaffected service and high prices in many hotel restaurants that made up many meals of our group tour. It was a... More

There was hardly anything vegetarian. For the price they charge, they definitely should have more variety.
