This location has great sandwiches and pizzas. The prices are very reasonable and the food tasty. Two couples visiting and one shared a pizza and one share a pastrami on rye. Delicious! Good layout on TVs if you want to keep up on the world's events.

This is a nice little place in West Branch Iowa. A good stop after visiting the Herbert Hoover grounds. They have very good pizza and a friendly staff.

Yummy thin crust pizza but Herb and Lou's is not fancy. Try a Herb's Heaper (meat) or a Light Lou (veggie).

Granddaughter picked because she liked the name - and wanted pizza. Very friendly staff - family oriented - had great conversation with other diners who were entertaining an exchange student from Germany - so it was a very interesting lunch as well as VERY good food. Not a fancy spot - but would recomment. Good value.

Had to chuckle at the name but the pizza was actually quite good. Crisp enough crust and a nice amount of toppings. Will most def go back.

The large room is divided between a pizza restaurant in the front and a bar area in the back, but you can bring your food into the bar and vice versa. I had a very good Ruben sandwich (I just ordered a half because I was not very hungry) and a Bud Light. Listen to the conversation of the locals,... More
