Martabak is one of cuisine originally from India or Arabic, but in this restaurant that martabak can mixed with local indonesia vegetables called daun bawang or potatoes...and dessert using pieces of meat, water, potatoes, garlic, salt (indonesia cooking spices)..so delicious...just inform HAT is stand for H.Abdul Rozak the founder of the Martabak in Palembang

Got take away for this. The martabak is quite uniqe, it's not other martabak that i ever taste. This martabak has 2 choice using duck or chicken egg, i try the duck egg so it's became more richer in taste, the martabak itself is good but the curry sauce taste a little bit plain. The martabak tastes great. You eat it with a delicious curry gravy. It supposed to open 24 hour (they have a sign: "open 24 hour except in judgement day" ), but it's not. So we search other branch that opened 24 hour (it's already half past midnight when we search it).

you have to go to martabak har if you visit palembang, it's like an indian martabak but modified to indonesian taste. i think it's main ingredients is egg, we will eat it using an indian curry. eat it when it's hot to get the good taste. and please go to main branch, because my friend said that the branch one... This is one of my favorite foods. Every time I travel to Palembang I definitely visit this place. Yummy curry with plenty of eggs. I miss "Martabak HAR" so much.....

It is actually a pancake made from dough. Two eggs per martabak are used. It is placed to be fried on oil. Once it starts floating on the oil, it is taken off and served.
