A great little place to eat

This is a very popular little restaurant for locals, truck drivers and tourists. The food is very fresh, well cooked and cheap. It was full the night we ate there and the atmosphere was wonderful.

This quiet family run warung is quite literally in their backyard. Don't let this put you off, as we thought that the food was amazing and locals seem to agree as well!

Tucked well off the main street, this warung is cosy, quiet, pretty and serves pretty good food. We ate 3 meals here and the service was fantastic, prices as good as can be expected for a restaurantn targetting tourists, and food ranged from above average to fantastic. The staff seemed to enjoy helping us with our bahasa, and my partner... More

We stayed in Taman Sari so the location was just perfect for us, a short safe stroll trough the quiet lane. The dogs aren't really interested in people, but if you are afraid of dogs then you would have problems every where. I write this because of a previous comment which said the dogs where a bug. A bug to... More

We stopped at Santai Warung twice during our recent stay in Permuteran. I highly recommend the food and atmosphere. Like sitting in the garden at home and having mom make you Indonesian food. So comfortable, and attentive and was just a fabulous experience.

Every time I come to Pemuteran I return to Santai! The food is extremely well priced - less than $3AUD for a main meal - the food is always fresh and delicious and made while you wait. The atmosphere is something special - a mix of local and tourists, with live music and dining under the stars. Made and her... More

We spent 5 nights in Pemuteran and every nightwe would end up back here. We did eat at other restaurants but always returned for the live music. it has a relaxed local feel which is what we want on a holiday. it is run by a very friendly couple who also offer transport. a must to visit in Pemuteran.

Warung Santai offers great value for money. We had 2 lovely dinners. Great Balinese food, very Nice owners and live music (which was actually very good). Great atmoshere due to mix of locals and tourist. They also offer excursions and transport for a reasonable price.

Food was amazing, bit more expensive than other hotels but still cheap in comparison to back home. Staff friendly and helpful, we ate there at least 5 times during our 2 week stay in the resort.

The food is awesome. We've been in Indonesia for a while, eaten a lot of meals out, this place really stands out. Made is a star, such an amazing cook. It's a little bit off the beaten track, but it's well worth finding this place.
