Neighborhood dive

Great neighborhood eatery. Prefer Tim's to any other Pizza. They only take cash or check so don't even try using a credit or debit card.

So here is the deal. I am sitting in the barber chair in Clay County (about 45 minute drive from Tim's) and the barbers and others start talking about best Pizza in KC area. Well, not much good in Clay or Platte County...but Rossati's is good out south, and Paulo and Bill's is excellent. Couple other places mentioned as well,... More

My family has been going to Tim's Pizza for nearly 20 years, whenever we first discovered it. It's the greatest pizza, close to Fun House's pizza with the thin crust, toppings all the way to the edge. We LOVE it, this place is always booming on a Friday or Saturday evening; but they do not stay open late I think... More

I'm an Independence native, but hadn't been to Tim's until a few years ago. It quickly became one of my favorite pizza places. NEVER been disappointed!

This pizza is so good and so fresh. The toppings are piled high and are so good. The crust is not thin yet not thick, just amazing! Great local joint.

I think this is the worst pizza I have ever had. Sorry, I know some locals like it, but like the other review I saw, the crust taste burnt, no flavor. The toppings taste like they were added after the pizza was put in the oven, also limited flavor. Salad bar area was nasty. They have carpet and food all... More

Tim's has pretty darn good pizza. The crust isn't exactly thin but has a really good crispness to it. They are super generous with the toppings so be prepared for a pizza that is loaded to the 9's if you get several toppings.

The wife and I went here a couple nights ago. When we walked in on a Friday around 5pm there was just one table there. Maybe shouldve been my first clue. We proceeded to counter and were greeted by a young man who was nice and friendly. We went ahead and ordered a Large pizza a salad and one drink... More

We chose this restaurant because of the Chicago Style Pizza offered. Reasonably priced. Good food. They even offered a small FRESH salad bar. Good choice.

Is it fancy? No, but it is clean and inviting. This is a throw back pizza joint. The pizza is outstanding and the owner works the kitchen. There is a viewing window so you can watch the pizza being made. The crust is crust but not thin and the toppings re top shelf. A little more pricey than run if... More
