Weird experience

Whilst the food was verging on better than average, I can't help but to score poorly due to our abysmal experience. Whilst the food was being cooked by Martini's daughter, Martini sat with us recounting her hard luck story. When food arrived we both breathed a sigh of relief, but alas she continued... read more

Got some prawn noodles and a rice dish with prawns. The noodle dish had prepped and chopped prawns all through it which made it ideal for sharing. The rice dish came with big full prawns heads and tails, the whole shabang! can't go wrong in here, both dishes delicious! Went back the next day to grab a takeaway for the... More

Had food at Martni's quite some time back in 2011 and the food was good and tasty. Food to try would be their satay and their local dishes.

The first night, Martini's niece cooked up a plate of gado gado and it was so good that I went back another night and had another traditional Balinese dish. They are extremely friendly and the food is amazing at great size portions at a really good cost!!

Cheap Bintangs and good cocktails. Live music, which is also good. Friendly staff. Open late. Staff will also ring for transport if you need it.

Martini and her family run a great little warung on the main parking lot. Everything is freshly cooked here guaranteeing your food is always tasty. Try the Pad Thai Martini way or the Nasi Goreng. Martini will also cook some great prawns on request. Lovely place and great atmosphere for a cheap price.

Do yourself a favor - stop reading right now and just go and try the food at Martini's! Like most of you, I found myself in Padang Bai while in transit between Lombok and Bali. I had planned to spend a night or two enroute to Kuta. Well what happened was... I went to Martini's for dinner my first night.... More

The place is rather modest and while the first impression may be a little less than appealing, Martini serves truly delicious Indonesian home style dishes at a very cheap price. Everything you order will be prepared fresh, as it should be. When you are in Padangbai, Martini's is a must!

Great food at cheap prices and a wonderful friendly host. Seek out this small warung and you will keep returning to it.

To be honest, after reading all the reviews I thought that this place was going to be to be on the fancier side of local warungs. I had a great experience there but I want to give a realistic view. The warung is in a small corner, overlooking the big parking area. There is only 1 (2 at night) table.... More
