Back again after a year

2nd time back at Take, the quality is really very good compared to Jap chains we have in Singapore like Sushi Tei which they also have in Bali ( just round the corner too from Take!) The sashimi slices are thick and succulent and the food freshly prepared. The service is warm and the owner is... read more

We tried sushi, agedashi tofu, tempura and all of them are nicely done. The best thing about this restaurant is the owner, the old man is always there to greet us and take care of business. Well run Japanese restaurant.

My wife and I have been many times to Take Japanese Restaurant on Jalan Padma, today I found that it has closed making way for a new hotel, it was great there with awsome food service and ambiance! I found the other Take tonight and to say I was disappointed would be a huge understatement! We ordered Gyoza as a... More

To have all the good review from tripadvisor citizen , I visit this place for dinner with high expectation. I ordered sashimi platter to sample, the sashimi is thick and fresh but not that delicious. It's just don't have the "it" factor and I travel with my bro that worked in Japan for several years. He also said that it... More

Take is one of my favorite restaurant in Bali. I always order whatever seafood that is locally catched. Not only they taste fresh and best too, it also cheaper because they are not imported. Order these sashimi : marlin, mackerel, swordfish, sweet squid, uni, shrimps. Order miso butter : clams, crabs, eggplants. Their pork belly is also good if I... More

We chose the restaurant after reading several reviews online about the place. The location is pretty easy to find if you're familiar with Kuta - Legian area. However, it's not really located in down town central Legian so it's more convenient if you have your own vehicle. The ambience was nice, it's clean and there were photos of famous Indonesian... This is the best sushi you can get on Bali. Although if you eat on lunch.. Some smells sting.. I experienced it every time i went there on lunch. I like the soyu butter clam.. Best of the best. Sashimi was thick and delicious. But the staff is very few and looked tired.

I accidentally found this restaurant a few years ago. Ever since, we always visit whenever in Bali. I am a big fan of Japanese food and I've tried so many Japanese restaurants in Jakarta and Bali. Take I has the most amazing sashimi selection you'll never find anywhere else in Indonesia —at least not with the same price tag. They... More
