TAKE, bamboo in Japanese, is Rama Restaurants Bali’s first authentic Japanese restaurant which opened in 1999. Bamboo reflects the philosophy behind our undertakings. This sturdy plant is beautiful, flexible and strong at the same time. Take’s interior and furniture is mostly made of bamboo. Its beauty is visible in the presentation of our extensive Japanese dishes. Your choice of sashimi, sushi, live seafood, soup, salad, robatayaki, hot and cold noodle, don buri all prepared to ensure authenticity, under the supervision of Mr Okamoto with his strong background and experience in Japanese cuisine. We carefully select our imported Japanese ingredients while using the best local produce for vegetables and live seafood. Sake, sochu, wine, and Japanese beer are available to compliment your meals.

Best one in bali

This is the best sushi you can get on Bali. Although if you eat on lunch.. Some smells sting.. I experienced it every time i went there on lunch. I like the soyu butter clam.. Best of the best. Sashimi was thick and delicious. But the staff is very few and looked tired.

I accidentally found this restaurant a few years ago. Ever since, we always visit whenever in Bali. I am a big fan of Japanese food and I've tried so many Japanese restaurants in Jakarta and Bali. Take I has the most amazing sashimi selection you'll never find anywhere else in Indonesia —at least not with the same price tag. They... More

My partner was in heaven oohing with each bite!! DEFINATELY coming back and recommending to our fellow Bali visiting friends.

there were some bugs on our dinner table :( This was the second of two visits to Take during my visit to Bali. First of all, the food was excellent for each dish ordered. Sashimi was high quality and the best I had during this visit in Bali. Other dishes that were great were the BBQ pork ramen, gyoza and... More

A friend recommended this restaurant to me, will admit I was sceptical as I had never been to a Japanese restaurant before. What a wonderful experience I had. The décor was Japanese style with seating at conventional tables or the on floor style. The menu read like a book, I found myself using tooth picks as book marks for dishes... More

I would say this is one of the best Japanese restaurants in Indonesia. Very thorough menu, including more niche Japanese seafood dishes. They also have O-Toro (Semi Fatty or Fatty Tuna) which is very hard to find outside of Japan. They also put special emphasis on preparing the food in an extremely hygenic manner, given the tropical weather does have... More

Dear Valued Guest, Thank you for such a lovely message. And your perception that sometimes the food is not to blame for one's illness. Much appreciated thought. Our ingredients are fresh and prepared under strict supervision of our Japanese chef. Hence the overall good quality. That said, we're hoping to have you back for more quality meals. Warmest regards from... More

Went there with my friend for dinner because she said they have a really delicious ramen. So we went there and I ordered niku udon. I like udon more than the ramen noodle. We have been to Take few times and everything was always fine. The place loved by Japanese people and you can find a lot of them there. But once we had absolutely unacceptable experience when after dinner we were vomiting all night long. And we did not drink any alcohol and we did not eat anything else anywhere after Take.... More

Been here a couple of times, and always satisfied. When my fiancee asks "where do you want to have dinner, honey?" i always answer "Take!!". This place is best for live seafood and sashimi and also grill. My fave is always been the same: salmon sashimi, shiro sashimi, hotateyaki, and from the grill: white mushroom, corn, and unagi satay.
