Oishii!! Best Japanese Restaurant in Bali!

Been here a couple of times, and always satisfied. When my fiancee asks "where do you want to have dinner, honey?" i always answer "Take!!". This place is best for live seafood and sashimi and also grill. My fave is always been the same: salmon sashimi, shiro sashimi, hotateyaki, and from the... read more

We have been to Take few times and everything was always fine. The place loved by Japanese people and you can find a lot of them there. But once we had absolutely unacceptable experience when after dinner we were vomiting all night long. And we did not drink any alcohol and we did not eat anything else anywhere after Take.... More

Whenever I am in Bali I go at least 2 or 3 times to TAKE! As far as I'm concerned the best food you can get, very fresh and a lots of variety. After being recommended by my little brother, i visited take in Bali. From the outside it looks typically japanese, and oh my lord what followed... You will be greeted in Japanese by entering, have these traditionally Japanese 'floor settings' wich look great fun! But i was alone so took place at the sushi bar. Filled with 85% of Japanese expats... More

I'm glad we've succeeded in bringing that ambiance here. And you are correct in assuming that we use only the freshest of ingredients... More

Dear Valued Guest, Hello and Good Morning. We'd like to think that we're the home of sushi, sashimi and any other Japanese cuisines. Glad you thought so, too. The traditional Japanese dining setting (tatami) is a favorite with many. Just adds to a typical Japanese eatery. Looking forward to your next visit. Warmest regards from Rama Restaurants Bali. If it's authentic Japanese food you are looking for in Bali, make your way to Take 1 in Legian. Seriously fresh, simply presented and more than enough on the platter. The mixed sashimi platter is - without hesitation - the best I have seen outside of Japan! Fantastic value! There are no fewer than 12 colourful pages in the menu... More

Take is something of a local institution attested to by the many photographs showing no doubt the proud owners with various dignitaries and diners of note. It is neither particularly flash nor fashionable but it does offer delicious food in comfortable surroundings at a very reasonable price. Take has lots and lots of menu variety. From sushi, bento, sashimi, appetizer, ramen, udon ... you name it. They have them all. Tried the sushi. Quite good and fresh. Definitely a lot better than Sushi tei if you want to have good sushi in Bali. Recommended !

A sushi restaurant without fish - took the family to TAKE I on a Friday night with a 7pm booking.
