Great find on our recent holiday, we love japanese food, and this certainly lived up to our expectation.Service was quick and efficient, the sushi very well present, and the Negi Ramen very tasty, the seafood is very fresh and the plum wine was a great suggestion by the head waiter. It is a bot more pricey then other places in... More

The place is very simple but intimate and friendly. Very good Japanese in Bali, the best I've ever been to. Fresh fish, good service and delicious sushi.

Dear Valued Guest, I love that description of us as being ' simple but intimate and friendly'. That is what we try to achieve...a traditional Japanese eatery. Thanks for the mention. And what more can any restaurant offer but 'freshly good food and friendly service'. May we expect to see you more often, then? Warmest regards from Rama Restaurants Bali.... More

Dear Valued Guest, Hello and Good Morning. We'd like to think that we're the home of sushi, sashimi and any other Japanese cuisines. Glad you thought so, too. The traditional Japanese dining setting (tatami) is a favorite with many. Just adds to a typical Japanese eatery. Looking forward to your next visit. Warmest regards from Rama Restaurants Bali. If it's authentic Japanese food you are looking for in Bali, make your way to Take 1 in Legian. Seriously fresh, simply presented and more than enough on the platter. The mixed sashimi platter is - without hesitation - the best I have seen outside of Japan! Fantastic value! There are no fewer than 12 colourful pages in the menu... More

Take is something of a local institution attested to by the many photographs showing no doubt the proud owners with various dignitaries and diners of note. It is neither particularly flash nor fashionable but it does offer delicious food in comfortable surroundings at a very reasonable price. I have been several times and enjoy sitting upstairs where there are tables... More

Take has lots and lots of menu variety. From sushi, bento, sashimi, appetizer, ramen, udon ... you name it. They have them all. Tried the sushi. Quite good and fresh. Definitely a lot better than Sushi tei if you want to have good sushi in Bali. Recommended !

A sushi restaurant without fish - took the family to TAKE I on a Friday night with a 7pm booking. The intention was to order a range of maki (sushi roll) and nigiri with hopes the food would live up to all the good trip advisor reviews. However, it was only after finishing our appetisers (gyoza, fried lotus) when we... More

To make it clear, I'm a big fan of sushi and my standards are quite high – I prefer Tokyo/Japan way of enjoying this famous dish. Mostly nigiri, only raw fish, focus on "non-salmon" stuff (good restaurants in Japan don't serve salmon anyway). After trying different Japanese restaurants in the last 2 months in Bali, I can say Take is... More
