TAKE, bamboo in Japanese, is Rama Restaurants Bali’s first authentic Japanese restaurant which opened in 1999. Bamboo reflects the philosophy behind our undertakings. This sturdy plant is beautiful, flexible and strong at the same time. Take’s interior and furniture is mostly made of bamboo. Its beauty is visible in the presentation of our extensive Japanese dishes. Your choice of sashimi, sushi, live seafood, soup, salad, robatayaki, hot and cold noodle, don buri all prepared to ensure authenticity, under the supervision of Mr Okamoto with his strong background and experience in Japanese cuisine. We carefully select our imported Japanese ingredients while using the best local produce for vegetables and live seafood. Sake, sochu, wine, and Japanese beer are available to compliment your meals.

Sashimi quality is good

Besides getting local balinese food in Bali, this is one of the must eat in Bali. Orders are processed pretty quick. Food quality is great. I wish the exhaust system of the restaurant is improved, as everytime we go there, i must take shower due to the food/cook aroma is all over us

Another of our favourite joint in Bali which we never fail to patronise. Fresh sashimi and terrific service, chaperoned by a Japanese owner. Outstanding.

Yes, I come back a lot. Mainly for Eel Rice (Unagi Don) and I always order hot sake to go with it. It tastes very good and authentic. Normally I would start questioning my choice of eating Japanese food more often than local food in Indonesia, but it is that good.

I certainly enjoy the fresh ramen plus the steam wine clams. The staff need to be more speedy . The setting of the rest quite friendly and especially for group of people

This is a busy, buzzing and quite authentic restaurant. Suggest you aim for a seat alongside the kitchen so you can watch all of the action. Overall though very disappointed with the food with 'chicken ramen' lacking any chicken whatsoever and 'soft shell crab sushi' featuring something deep fried which was no thicker than a matchstick. The taste in both... More

i live in bali and go at least 6 -10 times/ year for a TAKE-dinner.... - fish is always fresh, never disappointed. - the staff could be bit more attentive. - toilets could have bit more attention and the older single toilet definitely needs a facelift. - very good value for the money

We were hanging out for japanese and after reviewing all the reviews decided to try take 1. The place looked ok the menu was so huge! Was so hard in deciding. So we asked the waitress for recommendations and she said start off with the volcano roll. My partner then ordered the ramen which was also recommended and I ordered... More
