I was looking around for recommended local eateries and came across Warung Yogya. It was a small eatery with simple decor. The waitress was not particularly friendly but it didn't bother us as we were just there for the food.I had wanted to try the Rawon (beef soup) but it wasn't available, so I ordered the Mie goreng. It came in... My friends and I hit this warung every day for a week. Sometimes it was hard not to go more than once, though we did force ourselves to branch out. We were never disappointed with anything we ordered during our many visits and prices were extremely reasonable. A couple highlights: Gado gado: remarkable peanut sauce and generous amount of fresh... More

We visited this Warung wiht high expectations, and we have to admit that some of them were satisfied, others no. The food was averagely good, with their Tempe as best dish, while the Nasi Campur was not up to our expectations at all, blend and not really as imagined (we had other experiences in Indonesia). A plus is for their... More

Food was excellent. Big meals and everything basically $2 AUD. Very simple typical Indo Warung with BYO. Always busy.

Cheap, clean and has great noodles and fried rice for kids. Great curry and many more yummy dishes or you can make up your own. For $2-$3 can't beat it

Have eaten here several times in the last week. Highly recommend the chicken curry, soto ayam and mei goreng. Their chilli is lethal as it should be. Found the place to be noisy due to traffic, but got over this by getting take away. The staff are good, kitchen looked good, all in all a great place to go.
