Slippery Stone is a relaxing casual eatery. The open kitchen and bar created a unique feeling of warmth and hospitality. A Balinese feel is presence due to breathtaking rice-paddy views, and the local farmers going about their day-to-day business. Our overall aim is to be accessible to everyone, a local haunt that people can afford to visit 2 or 3 nights a week.Philosophy Our passion is to deliver a truly unique experience, which is completely removed from the everyday. Whether it is the incredible food, with its exploration of the harmonies of flavors and its incredible beauty on the plate, or our staffs, whose sole aim is to create for you a seamless unique experience and capture the essence of our true hospitality. AmbianceThe airy space is large, with comfortable cushioned bench style seats as well as sofas, and the typical table placements, in a rice field setting so typically Balinese, around a pond water feature.

From start to finish we could honestly not fault this amazing place. The setting of the restaurant is just beautiful, funky clean modern with a touch of class. The best Greek food I've had in a long time. Exceptional service, simple dishes, amazing flavours quality ingredients and consistently good. Loved the lamb, the fish with its smoky charred flavours and the beautifully cooked Horta (edible weeds). The octopus is to die for. I could go on forever, instead do yourself a favour and give it a go, you... More

Came up to Bali for my godfathers 50th birthday which was to be held at Slippery Stone. Had heard the place was big and aiming to be a front runner in Mediterranean cuisine up there. Having been to greece more times than I could count on one hand, I could see this was true! The food, the vibe, the setting,... More

This was our second visit to Slippery Stone and once again the food was fabulous, particularly the lamb which was melt in your mouth. A member of our party can't eat gluten so Sam (the owner) customised a couple of dishes for us but there was also plenty of gluten free items on the menu if you ask. Fantastic service,... More

Start to finish, amazing. Security at the door make you feel welcome and secure. From being greeted and seated the place is modern and the staff and well (English) spoken. Met one of the owners Sam, and he sat with us, assisted with our ordering and genuinely helped pick food to meet our palette and dietary requirements. Now add the... More

Not since Dimitri's one of Sydney's bestest Greek restaurants closed its doors have we had such amazing fresh Greek Food. I mean seriously amazing. Sam and his team have put together an oasis from the Greek Islands for us all to enjoy. The freshest of fresh seafood, but oh the Haloumi flown in from Singapore was a great starter along... More

We have been here before... But the new Slippery Stone is completely different from the old version of this very large venue. Cocktails: the espresso martinis were really good and they have a 2 for 1 deal that makes them even better :) Wine: the wine list can be a bit on the pricey side but their house wine is... More
