Description: Slippery Stone is a relaxing casual eatery. The open kitchen and bar...
Slippery Stone is a relaxing casual eatery. The open kitchen and bar created a unique feeling of warmth and hospitality. A Balinese feel is presence due to breathtaking rice-paddy views, and the local farmers going about their day-to-day business. Our overall aim is to be accessible to everyone, a local haunt that people can afford to visit 2 or 3 nights a week.Philosophy Our passion is to deliver a truly unique experience, which is completely removed from the everyday. Whether it is the incredible food, with its exploration of the harmonies of flavors and its incredible beauty on the plate, or our staffs, whose sole aim is to create for you a seamless unique experience and capture the essence of our true hospitality. AmbianceThe airy space is large, with comfortable cushioned bench style seats as well as sofas, and the typical table placements, in a rice field setting so typically Balinese, around a pond water feature.

Just simply amazing!

This was just amazing. Best Greek food I have ever had. It was so good we went twice in 1 week. The staff were very friendly and helpful. A definite must. Also it was great they would order a taxi for you when ready to leave.

Stopped in for an early dinner and were the only ones there. We were waited on for anything and everything we wanted and more. I was immediately impressed by the restaurants set up, it's huge and beautiful with lovely lighting, seating and defined areas (bar, romantic, casual dining, sports and pool table, kids area). We ordered an appetizer and within... More

Lately I'd been thinking about shortening our holiday in Bali due to the amount of disappointments mainly with the food. The quality of the food at Slippery Stone was at a standard I have never experienced anywhere in the world. The service was extraordinary! We played a few game of pool and there was a waitress always ready to rerack... More

We visited Slippery Stone recently and had great expectations after reading reviews in Trip advisor. Staff were lovely.. Attentive and helpful. We chose entrees and they can out pretty much as we expected. Then tried to order main course... Five different meals were ordered before we chose something they finally had available. Very very frustrating to say the least. The... More

We absolutely love Greek food and were more than impressed, not only with the exceptional quality of the food but the service and decor were superb...without giving too much away, this is a restaurant not to miss in Bali. We had the feta saganaki and taramasalata as entrees...both delicious, prawns saganaki and lamb giros as mains can be recommended and... More

The food is delicious, the calamari is amazing. The restaurant is authentic from the decor to the service. There were two of us and upon ordering our entrees and our mains we were offered them in half size due to generous portions as to not over order. Great idea!! The more we could try off the menu the better. Slippery... More

From the moment we stepped into the Slippery Stone we felt at home. The Greek/ Aussie owner, Sammy greeted us with a warm handshake & smile, sat with us & told us about the restaurant, food, drinks, staff etc along with his future plans to further expand the restaurant to include a pool & amazing outdoor are. Good Greek food in a beautiful setting. The staff were brilliant and worked hard to make sure we were well looked after -without being too intrusive. The owner was constantly on hand to offer solid and enthusiastic advice about what dishes to order. We've eaten at quite a few decent places this holiday, but I've not felt the need to... More

Wow what can we say! As Audsie born Greeks this is the best Greek food outside of Greece. The staff greeted us at the door with a warm smile, they quickly introduced us to our host Sam(aka Savva) one of the 3 owners. He chatted with us all and then escorted us down to our table. The decor was sensational... More
