Description: Slippery Stone is a relaxing casual eatery. The open kitchen and bar created a unique feeling of warmth and hospitality. A Balinese feel is presence due to breathtaking rice-paddy views, and the local farmers going about their day-to-day business. Our overall aim is to be accessible to everyone, a local haunt that people can afford to visit 2 or 3 nights a week.Philosophy Our passion is to deliver a truly unique experience, which is completely removed from the everyday. AmbianceThe airy space is large, with comfortable cushioned bench style seats as well as sofas, and the typical table placements, in a rice field setting so typically Balinese, around a pond water feature.MenuThe focus on the menu proper is strongly on local produce and flavors. Our objective is to support and encourage local business and to ensure that all our customers receive food and beverage of the highest possible quality with excellent service and customer care.BeverageThe menu features wide variety of exotic alcoholic & non-alcoholic cocktails, mocktails, fresh Juices, beers and one of the largest wine selection from all around the world. The price is extremely reasonable for Bali.Seating CapacityIn Slippery Stone, we have a total 40 pax for the lounge, 15 pax at the bar, 170 pax for dinner, 16 pax Bale separated in 7 sections

I reviewed the Slippery Stone after a memorable visit in July 2013. Went back n November only to discover it was closed for renovations. Tried again in february 2014....still closed. New management was the latest information. What a pity that such a wonderful idea combined with a fabulous setting and great food should disappear seemingly without the option of re-opening.

Does anyone know if the Slippery Stone has reopened. I know it closed mid dec but not too sure if renovations have finished and it has reopened or not. Also does it have new owners same ones. If new is it still like it used to be?

My daughter and I tried to go to this place for lunch on 22nd December and when we finally found it, the sign said it was only open for dinner. So we asked the staff at our hotel to ring and book for dinner that night, only to find that it was closed for renovations. It's a shame they didn't... More

I’ve had some pretty amazing meals in Bali – however the couple we had here were some of the best – an amazing venue, staff had it spot on and the food was fantastic – such a great way to finish a busy day of holidaying – It is a little hard to find so make sure the driver knows... More

I think they do have a good food. the manager told us that their guests are mostly australian and they are proud of it, but I think he should count the local indonesian too, as whenever I went there, its always indonesian. we tried a lot, the cone with avocado something, If they really uses the real avocado instead of... This restaurant didnt score particularly highly on TripAdvisor when I searched for it but I'm glad I ignored that because slippery stone was great. I will make sure to return whenever I'm back in Bali. The layout of the outdoor tables is spacious and allows for a very personal romantic experience amongst the trees. Excellent outdoor dining! Be sure to... More

It was suggested to visit this restaurant while in Bali, and I was glad we went. My wife and I decided to go on our anniversary. The decor and ambiance is perfect, but surprisingly there were not many people there. We had a whole section for ourselves which was great. The staff were very attentive and very eager to please,... Tonight we ventured out to the slippery stone having seen the generally positive reviews. From the moment we stepped out of the taxi (with the door opened by one of the staff for my girlfriend) we were waited on non - stop without the attention becoming overbearing or claustrophobic. The staff were carefully to give us our space but we're... More
