Best Italian pasta and pizza in Seminyak

After lots of really good Indonesian food we went here for a change. It's a big statement, but the hand made fresh pasta is really really good. We both had the Tortellini Gorgonzola which was al dente with a rich authentic creamy sauce. The Chef really is an Italian mama who's son is the owner. We... read more

Good for a casual pizza, service was a bit lazy, but good italian family feel about the place and some good old fashioned hospitality from owners.

While i understand that preferences on how a food is cooked etc are subjective, however the quality of the service and the food being served cold is nothing subjective. Two stars are for the good quality of drinks / wine at fair prices, and pizza being acceptable. Rest of the fare was all downhill from here. For sure this is... More

We ate there here Thursday night and the young waitress who served us was extremely rude too us upon arrival. We asked her a few questions about the menu and she continued to reply by saying 'huh' which we found very very rude. A simple I beg your pardon or sorry would have gone a long way with us. She... The sign advertising gluten-free pizza and pasta attracted us to this place because our son is coeliac (can't eat wheat). The food was excellent. One of the best gluten-free pizzas we've had anywhere in the world (including Italy). Pasta was superb, fish was tasty, very friendly and helpful service, one of the ladies is Italian (possibly the owner?) and very... More

Was introduced by the expat community to come to Rustica for a meal after complaining that the other famous italian joint had cooked their pasta too salty. The ambience is nothing to shout about but I thought I spied a pizza kiln. The food though, was amazing. Mama's home cooked goodness permeated through my deliciously simple bolognese. From the fresh... More

This restaurant quickly became our favourite during our two week trip to Bali. A good atmosphere in evenings and very friendly and welcoming staff. It's also special to see the restaurant’s owner, a true Italian Mama, getting involved in the kitchen, making sure all dishes are to the high standard she expects. The dish I recommend is their Lasagne. It... More

I love the setting: big open terrace like it should be in bali, no AC, just fans overhead... Really sweet wait staff..BUT BUT BUT terrible music and loud and to make matters much worse, a huge screen playing old Italian movies lights up the right wall of the restaurant so that if you have the unfortunate luck to be facing... It was a horrible dinner experience on our first night in Bali. We were here with our 8 and 6 yo children at 20:00 and more than an hour later our order has not served yet. The youngest is getting tired and felt asleep so she cannot eat her dinner and since the meal cannot be taken home we had... More
