This restuarant never disappoints. We always eat at the bar upstairs which has the best vibe. The service is great and the food is the best we have eaten in Bali to date and we have been coming to bali for years. Beef rendang is our favourite but all the other dishes do not disappoint.

Loved the atmosphere of the place and how the food was presented so nicely. I would come back just for the beef and bamboo dumplings, they were amazing. I also had the chow ming noodles with duck and tofu - had a nice taste but very average.

Our first night in Bali was epitomised by the outstanding experience of fine dining at MamaSan's. The evening began with the best Mojitos we have ever had .... there are several to choose from but the Coconut Mojito was an absolute treat! Our entrees set the scene and were a delicate introduction to the mains that followed. Each and every... More

We went to Mamasan twice, it was that good! The iced teas with sorbets were amazing. We had the beef and bamboo dumplings which was our favourite dish. Other dishes we ordered were also good: roast pork, chicken rice, char siu buns. The menu changes over the weekend, so be prepared to go back to enjoy all they have to... More

Highly recommended restaurant so was looking forward to trying it. The restaurant looked trendy and had a great atmosphere and we loved the coconut lychee drinks. The waiter recommended the beef and bamboo dumplings which tasted dried out and were very average. The mixed entrees at the table next to us also looked dried out. Pork belly mains were cloyingly... Initially really excited after reading all the hype but left a bit disappointed - food was good but average compared to other quality restaurants in Bali (Eg. Cuca). Duck was a standout and desserts were great value! Big negative - extremely annoying when we told our order and were asked "do you want to order Pad Thai instead?" - just... More

Mamasan was strongly recommended by a friend of ours as his favourite I can see why. This place is very popular and bookings are essential. I love the big painting on the back wall a stand out feature. Prices are on the higher side for Bali but very worth it. We had the salt n pepper calamari and dumplings for... More

Went with my husband and sis-in-law. Nice atmosphere and service was quick. There are many choices on the menu which is mainly Thai based foods. However there are other choices and not all are spicy. Portions are good sized and are meant for sharing. We ended up sitting in the upstairs bar area, but they use the same menu for... More

Mamasan is absolutely delicious. It is Australian prices but worth every cent. The entrees for us were a highlight we had the salt & pepper calamari and the steamed snapper dumpling absolutely amazing! The main & dessert were tasty and delicious too. There's a great atmosphere at mamasan. We booked online which made things easy. They had only late bookings... More
