We are from Melbourne Aust which arguably has a wealth of outstanding restaurants but MamaSan was up there with the best of them. We just wanted a few light dishes for lunch (2 of us). We didn't book but based on the number of people there we were lucky to get a table. The Sashimi, a fish dish and Peking... More

Brilliant dining experience at Mamma San. Don't miss it when in Bali - Thai fish cakes were the best, as was the beautiful selection of menu choices. If you love Chilli like me, you will be in dining heaven - YUM!!

Everyone that knew I was going to Bali told me to try Mamasan but it makes me suspect these people may not eat in asian eateries in Melbourne often. Mamasan is definitely pretty cool and the meals were nice but it wasn't a huge leap from some of the great asian food that is available in Melbourne. If I had... More

Mamasan's was highly recommended to us by all who have recently been to Seminyak, as well as by the owners of the villa we rented. Reservations are recommended as this is a well deserved popular spot. We were not able to get a reservation but dropped in and were very pleasantly greeted and offered the option of eating in the... A must try in Seminyak area. The foods are awesomely cooked and prepared. Every meals has it's own character. The spices that they use are very unique. It's asian fusion type of food. The staffs and service are really good. Very good ambiance. I really like the design of the dining area. It's hard to get a reservation for dinner.... More

Mamasan is a must visit in Bali, we had cocktails every day but this is the only place where they were seriously good. It has an good vibe, perfect for a group dinner or date night. Keep the delicious food and drinks flowing and hours will go by and you're not sure where they went! It's $$$ for Indonesia, but... More

We spent 5 days in Seminyak and this was by far the best place that we ate at! The food, cocktails and service were all of a very high standard. I would recommend trying the beef and bamboo dumplings with chilli and hot bean sauce - WOW! I want to return to Bali purely to eat here again.

The restaurant is big and airy, decorated beautifully. We arrived for lunch with no booking and were seated immediately. The staff were friendly and attentive. If you are a steak and potato person like myself, this will probably not appeal to you. However, I had a clear soup with pork wontons which was very nice (except for an over abundance... More
