Cheap and cheerful fare

Naughty Nuri's is just one of those places you have got to try when in Bali and while the restaurant is more "Warung" in look then a restaurant proper, it was a fun and cheerful place to have our dinner. It was alright..... Food quality was good but not outstanding. Asked for medium steak - got very rare! Sweet potato fries were charred. Restaurant was packed and we squeezed onto bench table in back corner of restaurant. Ticked the box, don't need to go back

It always irks me when people say in TA reviews, "Oh, I've had so much better food elsewhere" but then when you look at their history, there are no reviews! So what are you comparing it to? Naughty Nuris is NOT the best food in Bali (and I have certainly eaten a lot of Indonesian food on this island) and... More

This would have to be one of the most overrated restaurants in Bali... I'm sure they survive by their over-hyped reputation alone. The food was average at best, my sweet potato fries were intermingled with a batch that was charred beyond recognition (and definitely inedible)... The ribs were OK, but I've had much nicer elsewhere and as a previous post... More

So lucky me when I went to Nuri's there was no queue, normally it was! No need to be grumpy while waiting the ribs come, a delicious ribs arrived just a couple minutes after I ordered it. Very satisfied!

My sis's friend told us we have to come here for the ribs and we did not regret. The ribs with the sauce is yummy! Meat is tender and juicy. Will return if I go Bali again.

Wow - they boil the ribs and stack them into a big tray but that's ok cause it's in the sun and next to the warm bbq so the e-coli and salmonella will survive. It's then dipped in what I could only assume is sugar with molasses and then burned to a weird consistency and served to your table -... More

We ate here on our first night in Bali back in August 2014 as it was round the corner from where we were staying. As a vegetarian it wasn't the best dining experience I've ever had as it's a very meat focussed menu. My other half (a meat eater) was quite happy though. The staff were friendly, drinks and food... Take your time - if you come at prime time you probably have to wait in line to get in. It's worth it. The pork ribs form the grill are great and crispy. You probably have to share a table, a good chance to meet nice people. Order a margarita and wait what happens - the girls and guys will... More
