If you wish to taste a classy Indonesian food, cafe Degan is the right place. The price is expensive but wait until you try the food. Daging sambal hijau, sate ayam, sayur kangkung is one of the best that I've tried before and also try the unique ice tea. This is one of my favorite place when I go to... More

As we were in a rush, we perhaps didn't have time to savor all that the restaurant has to offer and yet the food and drinks we ordered were fine and the service professional and friendly.

We had dinner here twice during our stay in Bali. They are extending the restaurant but this does not deter from the food at Cafe Degan. The service is excellent- the staff were friendly and every detail of our meal was perfect. The restaurant is a mix of Thai and Indonesian. The green curry was delicious as were the lumpia... More

A nice cafe restaurant with really good local food. My family especially like the fried duck and we always eat it when we are there. For desserts, go for the rhubarb pie, which is very good.

I'm Indonesian, so this cafe is just like other restaurants in Jakarta for me. But, when I'm in Bali, this cafe offers the comfort of food and ambiance from home. The food is very common for Indonesian/javanese, satay, rice in "bakul", traditional indonesian salad "urap", etc and good thing it tasted as good as my mom's cooking. The interior of... More

If you looking for local or indonesian food, this place is highly recommended. Chef degan is the famous judge in masterchef indonesia tv show. The food is very tasty, presentation and serving very polite, not judge you by your color, even for local or tourist. I gave them four thums up. You should try the dessert, rich of taste and... More

After researching the area we were to stay in this café came up as one to try. It had some good reviews, and was even given a good write up from the 'Bali Eats' restaurant guide. We must have a different palate to other reviewers, or they had been sampling the local magic mushrooms or something. The café has some... More
