The restaurant is located on Petitenget street which is lined by many international restaurants. It's quite fascinating to see how fast this area is changing. If I'm not mistaken, Cafe Degan is one of first restaurants to open on this area. It's just freshly renovated with addition of new indoor dining hall which is equipped with AC. We came in... More

After a disappointing experience the night before, Cafe Degan restored our faith in trying local restaurants along Jalang Petitenget. A largish but comfortably furnished open restaurant Cafe Degan offers quite an extensive Indonesian and Thai menu. Good size serves with little delay between the various courses. Wine list was broad enough without being too cumbersome and overly expensive. Great thing... More

We are going there whenever we are in Bali. They have just renovated the place and now you can even find an air conditioned space. The menu has a mixture of Indonesian and Thai food because of the owner's background as a chef. The quality and taste are always consistent and the size of the meals sufficient as well. The... More

Though a bit away from the Seminyak area, it is worth the taxi! to visit Cafe Degan for a meal! Choices of food is really nice! Especially the local desert burbur sumsum! Coconut milk based warm rice pudding desert which is highly recommended!

their specialty is bebek goreng and daging cabai hijau. The bebek is very good with medium portion, you can differentiate it from bebek bengil, bebek tepi sawah. Daging cabai hijau is also good, but only a small portion. nasi goreng is also good. special drink is java ice tea with ice blocks made from the tea itself.
