Absolutely delightful

It was a bit of a trek from Kuta with the usual traffic jams but it was definitely worth it. My husband and I enjoyed a delightful lunch. The food was very well presented and tasted wonderful. Located on a picturesque rice paddy field Sardine is a great spot for dinner. It is very upmarket and the prices reflect it but still Cheaper than home. The fresh fish on the menu is amazing!! If you are looking for great fresh food and a beautiful setting go no further than this place!

No self respecting foodie, chef or critic can make an argument that smoking doesn't impact your ability to taste and smell the true nature of food. It's a scientific fact. Then why would a great restaurant have the best seats in the house for smokers? So Sardine, you don't get top marks for that very reason alone. Put the smokers... More

An amazing restaurant with great setting on a rice field. The food was delicious however the maitre d' was not very friendly. I would go here for lunch to enjoy the beautiful setting and to avoid too many mosquitos, the price is also much more reasonable than dinner!

A very enjoyable evening in a delightful setting. Our meals overall were reported as very good although my fish was a little dry, we can not comment on the sardines as we didn't order these. Great service; although the night was marred by the still stifling heat a few more fans would have allowed us to feel more comfortable. The... More

Food is great so is atmosphere. Very disappointed that they only take bookings for 6. We are a group of 8 and they wouldn't allow us to book ( not even 2 x 4)

Easily the best restaurant we visited in Seminyak. Great food, service & views over paddy fields. Although we had been given a table away from the paddy field, the waitress asked us if we'd like to change table for dessert, so we could enjoy the views. As usual, couldn't decide what to have, as everything founded amazing... Chose the lobster... More

We have dined at Sardine a few times, the setting is beautiful with views out over local rice paddy. The sardines are a must they are so yummy! Food is very good, decent wine selection.

We came for dinner, made the reservation early and were given a nice table closest to the rice paddies. It really is a lovely setting and the service was great. We had yummy Passion Fruit Mojitos. From the food I had expected more, I have to say. It is quite costly with mains starting at AUD 20 + tax, but... More

Our second holiday to Bali in the last 12 month had to include a return to Sardine, I hadn't stopped talking about it since our last visit. I had read some mixed reviews and suggestions about other restaurants, which we also tried but Sardine still comes out on top when it comes to a complete seafood menu. My 10 year... More
