We made a reservation on the day and had no problem getting in (weekday). The menu and wine list was impressive - wine is expensive in Bali, but was worth it with the meal. Everyone's food was amazing, not too heavy for a warm Bali night... and the setting was beautiful.

The atmosphere and service were terrific. The menu was compelling and the appetizers were terrific. The sampler, the Escargot and if you like Foie Gras (as my colleague do - and they raved about it!) -- were all terrific. By the way, Foie Gras, in a variety of expressions is one of their specialties. I found the filet quite underwhelming... More

Firstly the arrival hails something a bit special and then it just flows from there. High standard jewellery and boutique stores shroud the restaurant that then flows seemingly too the horizon, with step down seating areas on the cusp of the rice paddy fields. It is all honey coloured light with candle light and soft amber coloured indirect lighting doing... More

A wonderful night in a first class restaurant, where the service and food left nothing to be desired. If you didn't know you were in Bali, you would think you were in New York. The prices were very reasonable for an establishment of this class. I don't know if they had an outdoor eating area, but you could certainly see... More

This is our second visit to Métis. We went there last year and we loved it so much that we tried to book to dine there again on our last trip but we couldn't get a table unless it was 10pm. Hence this visit to Bali, I booked to celebrate our dad's 83rd Birthday at Metis several months prior to... More

A friend recommended we try Metis. A very nice location and there are some amazing items for sale in the shop out front. My wife had what she called the best steak ever. It was delicious. All the food was well priced and tasty. Good winelist also.

We've been here many times in the past. Not quite sure what's happened but it's lost is gloss. We noticed this slightly on our last visit and again this time it seemed things had slipped even more. Food was good but not great. Location and style is beautiful but the atmosphere was only ok even though the restaurant was almost... More

Not having reservations, we ate dinner pond side. The appetizer, dinner and desert were all very well done. Service was great and the atmosphere charming. It's worth dressing up a bit. Our complaints - - mosquitoes (wearing bug spray isn't a bad idea) - seafood linguini's pasta was a little harder than we like - French onion soup was sweet,... More

Have been to this restaurant many times over the years and when it was warisan in a past life .It has become too big and overrated The service was as usual very good but the size of the portions was ridiculous I had the confit of rabbit which was over salted and had more breadcrumb than meat on the 2...
