MÉTIS Restaurant, Lounge and Gallery is a sensory dining experience that embraces the sheer pleasures of living. With the recently opened lounge and beautiful garden, MÉTIS brings High Tea to a whole other level, a must try if you visit Bali. Flawless service in one of Bali's most elegantly sophisticated settings is just the beginning of this seduction into the depths of the five senses. MÉTIS is as fresh and sumptuous as the cuisine that graces its tables.

Spectacular

My partner and I had a delicious meal at Metis and had a table directly overlooking the garden. Staff were very helpful and everything is served with a smile! We loved it! It is not 'cheap' by Bali standards but it is fine dining and certainly worth it!

While not cheap ($250AUD for 2 people) the setting, service and food was beautiful. Such a lovely way to end the trip. Don't skip dessert!

A very upmarket restaurant. Great setting on a grand scale. A great food and wine menu. Beer selection could have been more extensive...I love a glass of Bali Hai. Another Balinese restaurant to compete on the world stage. A place for lovers with a wallet.

We celebrated my husband's 40th birthday at Metis with friends and family. Our entourage of 5 families had the opportunity to dine at Metis in July 2015 during the Idlfitri holidays. We were looking forward to our meal as it had earned a reputation for its good food. Booking of the venue was smooth although we had to pay a... More

It was not my first time. In Bali, it's difficult to find better restaurant. Professional staff. Well designed. The wine list is very rich. My favorite dish is the Foie gras cold.

After great reviews we were disappointed with the service and food here. We weren't welcomed at the front of the restaurant we were security checked. No one told us which way to go to the restaurant - we had to ask (turn right through the door then turn left and head for the garden). We were there for early dinner,... More

Went to Metis with the husband today for lunch. I booked online and asked for a table overlooking the gardens, and they gave us the best table in the restaurant - made me feel special. Yes, it is hot as others have said, but it's an open air restaurant in Bali, so of course it's hot..? The service was friendly... More

Metis should be a Diet Farm serving such small portions of flavorless food. Their premium prices don't come close to matching the food served. In addition to small portions the wine selection is triple what one would normally expect to pay. With such a vast array of choices to dine in Bali, Metis should be last on the list .

I had high tea at Metis in January 2016. The ambiance was high end, posh settting. Ponds with large koi fish at the entrance and well manicured garden view with paddy field. The high tea set menu was pricey , around AUD 55 for 3 persons and personally it was not worth it. Also not one staff said the simple... More
