Understated but excellent

A great place for lunch or dinner -really reasonable in an interesting, eclectic setting. A good range of meals available and all come out with a great twist.

This was my second time visiting Biku in Seminyak. I was expecting big things after my first visit. We made a reservation for Biku at dinner this time. The restaurant was bustling and there was live entertainment. Whilst the entertainment was entertaining, it was a little loud for dinner music. There was a wide range of meal options but on... More

My daughter and myself had the most amazing afternoon and high tea at Biku. The service and ambience was excellent and the actual high tea was amazing, served on Royal Albert china. It was so reasonable at 110,000RP and very generous serving of beautiful sandwiches, scones and cakes. Best of all Jero Asri Kerthyasa (Princess of Ubud and owner) came... More

If you are going to Bali do yourself a favour and visit Biku. The staff, food, teas and shop inside are all fantastic. We spent 5 nights in Bali and 2 of them we had dinner at Biku. I had Balsamic Chicken Breast followed by Strawberry Pavlova and I loved it, my daughter had Chicken Satay and Banoffee Pie for... More

We have been here a few times before, and always liked it. My wife started with a tarot reading and was not overly impressed. She felt that the lady was very insincere. The lady who used to do the readings (Christine) is no longer there, and this lady is nowhere near as good. We sat down for dinner and started... More

We decided to walk down Petitenget Street after our spa session for a bite to eat. I have seen many positive reviews about it and I am happy to confirm that it lived up to its reputation. The menu selection was good - with good traditional Indonesian and western options. The restaurant is owned by a Balinese and Australian couple... More

A friend recommended biku raving about the high tea... And I was not disappointed.. Scones are to die for. I did not realise you had to book ahead but the staff were lovely and even no they were flat out busy they prepared a table and we didn't have to wait long at all..
