High tea

I so loved this quaint little restaurant. I had high tea which is one of the best I've experienced in Bali. I thought the high tea was plentiful, attractive and very fresh and tasty. Staff are very helpful. There is an abundant of tea to select from. I loved the fine china of different sorts and... read more

Enjoyed a wonderful high tea here, complete with fine china - a table of 20. Excellent quality, offered Earl gray, iced coffee and a range of other drinks. Food was served on a silver 3 stack holder - huge qty complete with cucumber, salmon and a meat soldier sandwiches, the lightest scones jam and cream plus an assortment of sweets... More

The food here was fantastic. Everything tasted really fresh. Would recommend the Vietnamese sandwich (can't remember the exact name) and the smoothies were delicious! Was really impressed by the cake table and the desserts on offer. Food was also good value for money. The setting was lovely and it's nice that they've retained the feel of an old antique store,... Place is set up like an antiques store combination with a living room. Very nice atmosphere. Nice food, big portions, the local choices seem to be better than the western ones (my lasagna last time was really not too great, but maybe it was my fault and this is not the best place to eat lasagna), my friend had the... I read and heard so much about it and it did not meet my expectations. We went (party Of 6) for breakfast. Nothing special just ok. Service ok.

I have no heritance to reccomend this place for the tea lovers. They have various tea from around Indonesia and their service is very friendly. I ordered local green tea with jasmine taste, it had strong smell of jasmine but the green tea was not that concentrated. My friend had biku blended tea and it tasted much concentrated with mint... We pre booked for high tea and a 15 min tarot reading. We left with an hour to spare but still late (from Legian) traffic horrendous to say the least ...we rang from cab to let them know but received a frosty reception. Having never been we were unsure of what happened next, when we asked we were passed over... More

Thank you for your recent review of Biku. I'm glad you enjoyed your High tea. It certainly is a meal in itself, so I'm not surprised you didn't need dinner after that! I'm sorry you didn't enjoy the tarot reading. We seldom hear that our customers haven't had a very positive experience. I'm sure the reader was trying to find... More
