When you arrive in Bali, the firsat thing you should do is book into Sarong. We tried, but a 10 day holiday was too short and the earliest booking avaialble would have been after we had left. So we winged it. We arrived at 6.30 pm with our family of 5 and despite being full, they found a table for... More

Having dined in some of the top restaurants in Bali, I'm were still blown away by Sarong. The decor and setting is just perfect, staff is so attentive, and the food is excellent. One of the best in Bali.

Went there tonight after numerous recommendations from friends. It certainly lived up to all expectations. One of my restaurant highlights of the holiday. Simply can not fault to food, attentiveness of the staff, presentation even the cocktails. I think the food is exceptionally well priced and represents good value for money. My table ordered beef tartar, Naam with lamb, Peking... More

Had dinner last night with a couple of good friends. The restaurant has a very nice ambience and we could chat comfortably. Food wise, it was nice but not authentic. We had the Peking duck, Thai green curry and the panang beef curry. I had those dishes in a proper Chinese and Thai restaurant in Sydney. Sarong version was nice... More

The service is great. The food is average. The atmosphere of the place is nice. To me if you really want to experience ASIAN food - mildly. This is the place. I personally think ASIAN food original taste is richer.

Sarong is an institution for us - we have been here 3 times whenever we've visited Bali over a 5 year period and everytime, we have left happy. The food here is amazing; a journey of taste sensations through Asia - Indonesian, Chinese, Japanese, Korean etc but with Balinese flair. The highlights of the meal was the Fried Zucchini Flowers,... My wife chose this restaurant after hearing about it from friends (I naturally double-check on TA). The restaurant exceeded expectations. The cocktails were sensational, the beers cold and the food was about as good as I've ever had. For $100AUD the value for 5-star dining was unbelievable. I'd always found food in Bali a great disappointment, but this is something... More

Outstanding in every way - service decor and surroundings are all fantastic but what makes it stand out is the food and after-all thats why we go to any restaurant. If you like plain food don't go to Sarong. The food here screams flavour full rich delicious flavour. Asian flavours with Indian ( and many other ) influences. We loved... More

My husband and I visited Sarong with another couple for the first time in July 2014 after not being able to get a booking when we last visited Bali in 2013. We had been told to try Sarong by so many people, and were certainly not disappointed. Definitely book ahead though, with as much notice as possible so you can... More

We tried to get into sarong last year but did not have a booking. So this year, I didn't leave this to chance and booked 3 months beforehand so we could go for my birthday. We were not disappointed. The decore was gorgeous, the service was impeccable and the food was fabulous. And considering there were four of us and... More
