Great ambiance and food

Looking for a restaurant we 'stumbled' into Sarong. Without reservation we had to wait at the bar, but that was OK. Nice bar, staff working on the cocktails, time enough to see the place. We had a nice table in the front garden. The menu and wine list have more then enough to choose from. From... read more

We come here every visit to Bali as it's such a beautiful restaurant. Cozy, gorgeous decor and the ambience is top class. Food is a little spicy but so delicious. You will not be disappointed. A must to put on your list of fine dining in Bali

Sarong is special. The ambience is delightful, the service fabulous and the food delicious. We shared entrees and mains and there so many choices on the menu. All our food was tasty, and spicy! I think diners pre book at Sarong before they arrive in Bali. We made a reservation on our first day in Seminyak. Over 6 nights, there... More

Dinner along with the family: not the right place for the coeliac member of our group. Although we requested the chef to change some preparation in order to fit the allergic problem, we were told that we had to choose strictly just the gluten-free offer. But being vegetarian, coeliac, allergic to lactose and vinegar, the food proposed was absolutely average:... More

Been to Sarong four times and I've never been disappointed , the cocktails are made to perfection, the food is of very high quality. Unusual flavors with a touch of different spice to each dish. Not only the food and cocktails are great but the decor is even tastefully done. A great night out if you are in Bali. Fully... More

Sarong is a must do in Bali, and you'll need to book a week or two in advance - it's absolutely worth it. Whist great for two, dining as a larger group will allow you to try more of the fantastic menu. Solid wine list and good cocktails.

First of all, better make a reservation first before come. The taste of food is amazing. All the staffs are friendly. Good place, very romantic place. Good for Romantic dinner. My favorite table is near the big mirror indoor area. They have some wine and we can order with glass (not all only about 5-7 selected wines can order with... More

Lovely ambiance, beautiful garden setting, food pretty ordinary. The Laotian chicken was dry, devoid of flavour and altogether one of the worse meals I have eaten.....ever! My friend had the butter chicken that everyone seems to rave about and it was just butter chicken- no better than the butter chicken down the road at my local Indian Restaurant in Daylesford....
