Bit disappointed

Upon entering the restaurant the decor is amazing. The menu is a little mixed with balinese/ Indian theme consistent in the dishes The entrees / starter portions are quite small and don't offer great value. The butter chicken was good and the serving size was large. The lamb was too dry and the... read more

This restaurant is rated as one of the best restaurants in Indonesia in many international and Asian restaurant guides. This has a reason. Because this restaurant performs on a high level constantly for the past years. It is a high end restaurant, it's decent, it's elegant, it's slow food, it's calm but yet still trendy contemporary. This you must like... More

Get your spice on at Sarong! Amazing atmosphere and decor We all shared starters and entrees and were too full to eat anymore... Food was amazing very spicy but we asked for some plain yoghurt on the side to help with the spice, the service staff are very knowledgable as I have food intolerances and they helped me navigate the... I was rather excited about visiting Sarong and it lived up to all my expectations. My wife wasn't overly fussed about going, but I dragged her along and she was thrilled that she did. Starting with the lamb & yoghurt filled naan, we then ordered the Sri Lankan lamb curry & twice cooked cumin lamb as mains. They were just... More

Probably the best meal we had in Bali. It was a Saturday night. We didn’t book as we only just found out about this place. Luckily we had a table ready for us after about 10 minutes at the bar. The bar tender was knowledgeable about their extensive cocktail menu. The menu was Asian Fusion. We ordered three entries and... More

This a tourist trap kind of place. The restaurant is beautiful with fancy furniture and lamps. Great setting. But the food is a total let down. Nothing was delicious just plain and the so called "sashimi" are tiny pieces of prepackaged carpacio. Also the "tartar" was so spicy you couldnt eat it. We were 6 people and NO ONE liked... More

We were told to try Sarong as foodies and it was one of flawless evenings. We didn't book and were able to be seated after a brief wait at the bar, where we witnessed some great cocktails and skills from the barmen. We sat in the front courtyard which was a romantic, intimate setting. The food was outstanding. We had... More

Loved the decor, lighting and the whole atmosphere - a mix between romanticism and tropical Asian dining. The food (served family style) was all delicious and ample. Really great place for friends as you can share and taste a variety of different dishes.

We love dining out in Bali and Sarong is one of the gems on this beautiful island. This restaurant has very well trained friendly staff, tables well separated and wonderful Asian food. The only problem we had was booking, we emailed before arriving in Bali and had confirmation only to be told when we arrived that restaurant could not find... More
