dining experience that we had in Bali. I went with a group of 9 and we ate from the set menu (Menu 3, excellent value at 550k ++), thankfully, as the choice was dizzying. The deft kitchen delivered pan-Asian cuisine in perfectly sized portions. Certainly the best pork belly I've ever had. Desserts - (generally) unusually for an Asian restaurant... More

The setting of Sarong isn't as pretty as the others (see my review of Ku De Ta) but the food was amazing but one of our group couldn't really eat spicy food and even the 'non-spicy' recommendations were still reasonably spicy! Menu was huge so it will take several more visits so sample most of the menu. Desserts were great.... More

Went here with fairy high expectations as lots of people have recommended. The venue itself is beautiful and a fantastic size. Not to large and the tables are spacious. Food was nice but I found they meals were very rushed and, almost 5 mins after entree came the main meal. The service was great initially but after we had ordered... More

While so many suggested Sarong and it's sister restaurant, Mamasan, for our stay in Seminyak we have to say this was a huge disappointment, mostly due to the incredibly snobby reception we got from the two hostesses. We had enjoyed a fabulous meal at Mamasan a few days' prior and at the Ubud restaurant, Hujan Locale, a week prior. This... More

We went for our wedding anniversary. The food and service were exceptional. We had the scallops and pork belly for entree. Both were delicious. Followed by the seafood kebab and the Sri Lankan Lamb curry for mains. Again delicious. No room for desert.

Walking through the entrance of this restaurant is where your evening of enjoyment begins. The decor and ambience is simply stunning. The waiting staff were extremely helpful with any questions we had and were spot on with their suggestions. The food was delicious and could not be faulted. The passion fruit margaritas were superb as was the entire evening. Our... More

We were really looking forward to going to this restaurant had heard good reviews. We were really impressed with the settings absolutely beautiful. Unfortunately they put us next to a large party who got a bit noisy. But we asked to be moved which they did with no hesitation lucky for us they had a spare table. The service was... More

I was blown away by the flavour. The pork belly entree was top notch and the curries were a real hit. Such a good restaurant and setting. Its still only Sydney prices so we were really happy. Dont go there for a bargain go there for an incredible meal!

Sarong was a wonderful experience for me and my 3 friends. After having a terrible experience at a nearby restaurant the evening before, I wasn't sure what to expect from this restaurant. Boy was I impressed - the food was delicious and the service outstanding. The atmosphere was very relaxing and staff attentive. Anyone who wants good food and wonderful... More
