Kyodai sushi is our must go to sushi restaurant. The moment you walk through the door the owner is very welcoming, the wait staff attentive and the food well prepared and presented. The concept of rotating sushi is fun and makes your selection much easier than choosing from a menu.

Extremely welcoming owner and staff. While you can pick things off the conveyor belt, they will make rolls, sushi and sashimi to order and have a number of special items. The sashimi platter is excellent as are an Ichiiro Roll. For a quck lunch or dinner the quality is much much better than the run of the mill sushi buffet... More

While it always fun and unique (around Baltimore) to pick food off the conveyor belt - there are a lot of items that can be special ordered and are extra special. The Sashimi Platter is excellent but you need at least 2 of you to have a good chance of finishing it. The Owner is always trying to look after... More

Whether made to order or picked off the rotating sushi bar, this is a fast way to get a sushi fix but you can stay for a while a browse as well. The owner is everyone's friend (he seems to know most of the customers - and repeat customers are a good sign). The sashimi platter cannot be beat.

My friend and I always go to Kyodai to catch up. We love it there because we can chat without interruptions from other people. She is also a vegetarian, so it is a great place that myself (carnivore & fish lover) and her being a vegetarian we are both able to enjoy our meals, and even ask for special requests... More

Friday 6pm, pretty empty but filled up quickly. You can sit at a table where you can order and you will be served OR you ca sit on bar stools at the bar and choose from an assortment of sushi and sauces on a rotating conveyor belt. It's fun to look at everything (you need to lift a clear lid... More

Went after a day of sightseeing. Quick since most is premade on the rotating sushi bar. Tastier than I though premade sushi was. Fresh and good

Kyodai isn't bad, but remember that the rotating small plates can add up in price. The sushi is not the best, but it is of surprising quality for a rotating bar.

As the name suggests different combinations of Sushi come to you, what is amazing is just how good the Sushi is. The owner can be found at the door daily and keeps things up to par. The price is reasonable for the quality.

This spot score points for being lightning fast. I work in Towson and am bound by the bus so when I want to leave the area I jump on the Crazy 8 and head up to Kyodai, pound some sushi and jump back on the bus. Lickity split. Sushi is made right there and depending on how many folks are... More
