Horrible food...came out very hot! We had to wait 15 min to eat. My husband's veal was stringy and inedible...had to send back. Waiter (Walter) who was all about himself and impressing people w/ his Italian accent was not available and too busy working the room. We had to flag him down for water and drink refills. Did not apologize... More

Cafe Troia located in Towson, Md is an excellent Italian restaurant. There is a wide selection of appetizers offered. . The entrees are well prepared and delicious. In addition to the cozy indoor setting, there is a small balcony located at the back of the restaurant which is comfortable and quiet. Overall, it is good choice,

I have not been for awhile, The service was excellent, but my pasta with clams had no taste and I love that dish. My date had brisole and liked it. the ceasar salad was fair. They wanted to bring white anchovies and I asked for the regular, they did bring that. The gelato was not great and I love that too.I would expect... More

Went with friends who frequent the Cafe - service was excellent and my special request for a small plate of ravioli was graciously accommodated. The grilled calamari appetizer was perfect, the calamari was tender and delicious as were the herbs and sauce. The homemade ravioli (they make all their own pasta) was filled with sea bass and served in a... More

We were here on a rainy night and there were not many other customers. We were greeted and served by a very nice man. The food was good as were the cocktails. The bread was cold and uninteresting. My husband had the braciole, which was excellent. I had shrimp on toast, which was only OK. Sauce tasted canned.

We've lived in Towson for two years. and have been to Cafe Troia several times. they never disappoint. Whether in a warm and intimate dining room inside or out.on their covered back deck in the warmer seasons, the attention to detail is great and the food is fantastic. the cuisine is more authentic Italian than American red sauce. If you... More

This is a great restaurant in the heart of Towson. The food and service is excellent. Our family of four celebrated a birthday and we have a great dinner and enjoyed the atmosphere.

Low-key happy hour at the bar. Very cordial. Good wines and small plates. One of our favorite places to go in Towson.

Have a drink before arriving at the pricey bar with "measured" drinks! I thought that I was at an airport or a chain restaurant instead of the establishment in downtown Towson? Ok, assault me for the drink like they do at the airport but don't insult me with the dreaded shot glass pour of liquor. Tacky. 50th Birthday party for... More

No need to venture to Little Italy if you live in the Towson area. Troia Cafe is the best Italian in the area. Great atmosphere, nice little bar, and excellent wait staff sets Troia apart from the rest. Don't sleep on it, give it a try ASAP!
