We've lived in Towson for two years. and have been to Cafe Troia several times. they never disappoint. Whether in a warm and intimate dining room inside or out.on their covered back deck in the warmer seasons, the attention to detail is great and the food is fantastic. the cuisine is more authentic Italian than American red sauce. If you... More

This is a great restaurant in the heart of Towson. The food and service is excellent. Our family of four celebrated a birthday and we have a great dinner and enjoyed the atmosphere.

Low-key happy hour at the bar. Very cordial. Good wines and small plates. One of our favorite places to go in Towson.

Have a drink before arriving at the pricey bar with "measured" drinks! I thought that I was at an airport or a chain restaurant instead of the establishment in downtown Towson? Ok, assault me for the drink like they do at the airport but don't insult me with the dreaded shot glass pour of liquor. Tacky. 50th Birthday party for... More

No need to venture to Little Italy if you live in the Towson area. Troia Cafe is the best Italian in the area. Great atmosphere, nice little bar, and excellent wait staff sets Troia apart from the rest. Don't sleep on it, give it a try ASAP!

Having lived in Italy for many years, we are very picky about Italian restaurants in the U.S. The vast majority serve Italian-American cuisine, which is delicious comfort food...but not Italian high cuisine. Those that serve the better dishes with a true Italian mix of cuts, sauces and seasonings are often in the $$$$ category. Café Troia manages to reach the... More

On a recommendation, I took a colleague to Cafe Troia for an after-work dinner. We were very pleased. I had the Bracciole Gnocchi and my colleague had the rack of lamb. We were both thrilled with our food. It came in good time, was hot, and delicious. Service was very good. If you are in the mood for fine dining... More

The street view of Cafe Troia might not look like much, but this is definitely worth a visit. The service is consistently amazing. The food is always delicious! This is one of our absolute favorites, whether for a special occasion or for a regular night out. Make sure to save room for dessert, and get the chocolate flan!

A sincere greeting welcomed me to the restaurant. It was a special occasion because I was taking my administrative assistant to lunch for her birthday. The menu is diverse and the wait staff was terrific. The food was delicious and the price was reasonable for this category of restaurant.

This was a recommendation from our hotel, the Sheraton North Baltimore. Hotel recommendations aren't always all that reliable but this one was. We hadn't booked and there was a rather awkward welcome at first from the young girl at the desk, who didn't seem to know what she was doing. She initially told us we'd have to wait for a... More
