Description: Cafe Troia was established in 1986 by the Troia family, natives of Naples, Italy. When you dine with us, rest assured that you are eating foods that meet a higher standard than the USDA - ours. Our natural veal is fed a diet with no artificial hormones or antibiotics. It is humanely raised by family farmers and is carefully traced from the farm to the table. These same standards apply to our other meats: chicken, beef, lamb and rabbit. The eggs come from Springfield farm and our fish is usually wild caught. When possible, we purchase local produce to endure its freshness. All this is nothing new, this is the way we have operated for 23 years which is why we have such a loyal following.

The food was good. We had a party of 7 and shared dishes around. No one was disappointed. And no one went away hungary. Serving size was more than ample. The dinning room has the appearance of "fine dinning" (what ever that means) but the server was cheerful rather than snooty, playful more than reserved. For us it made the... More

After being delayed for 3 hours because of flight delays we arrived for a late night meal. Since it was so late, we decided to have an appetizer and split an entree. The grilled vegetable appetizer was scant for the price. When we asked if we could split the entree (since it was stated on the menu that they would... More

Competent, but kinda slow. Good food, but overpriced. Bolognese was excellent. I would prefer half the portion for 1/3 less the price. Lots of seafood options and Osso Bucco.

Reservations for 7 but arrived with 10. Accommodations arranged without comment and with grace and speed. Wait staff engaging and attentive. Ten different entrees and ten very happy diners.enough said.

This is one of our favorite restaurants in Towson. We've been going to it for over 20 years. In that time, the physical location has changed (moved across the street) but the outstanding food, service, and ambiance have not. Enjoy a drink at the bar, a quiet corner with friends, or reserve the back area for a private party. Regardless... More

This was our first visit to Cafe Troia and we will be going back. The food quality, presentation, service, and ambiance are all first rate. The menu also offers a nice variety of choices at different price points, for those who may be looking for an excellent quality meal for a reasonable price.

This restaurant appears quite over-rated based on other ratings. If you think a good restaurant means waiters in tuxes, tablecloths, some gold flashes and waiters who have big voices and personalities , then you might like this place. But the bottom line is that they squeeze tables to close, the waiters are mediocre at best and the food is quite... More

Wonderful place to have a dinner. The food is great, the service is awesome. In the summer they have an outside terrace open. The Sangria's are perfect. Two appetizers are must have: grilled Caesar sald and grilled calamari. Its unlike anything else I've tried anywhere.

We recently enjoyed a family celebration at Cafe Troia and could not have been more pleased with the entire experience. The service was excellent, the ambiance was lovely (we sat in the lower level) and the food was outstanding. The grilled calamari was tender with great flavor, the beef carpaccio outstanding, and the misto provided a variety of appetizer selections...... More

We had an early dinner here in early January of 2013. Lobster bisque and ravioli were poor. Dark in color, lack of fresh lobster flavor, very strong, bitter nutmeg-ish flavor. Absent was the customary finish of a sherry or cognac. My wife and I failed to finish the bisque (very rare) and she ate only a few bites of the... More
