Groupon in hand we had to use it before it expired or rather before Havana Road shuts Down as mentioned in local media. I wrote a review earlier about HR critical of portions of some items. While portions may still be an issue, we steered clear of the tapas menu but had to order the Calamari Fritos. Well prepared. Great... More

We came in late for dinner. The waitress had zero personality! The plantains were hard as a rock, she finally sent them back. The food was obviously not prepared while the owner was present. Usually meals are wonderful but we haven't gone back.....

Full disclosure. I go here for one thing and one thing only, their Cuban sandwich. It is BYOB but there is a liquor store next door, if you want a non-virgin drink. They do give discounts if you say you are dining next door. The cuban is always good and the yucca fries always crispy.

Had the Cubano for lunch. Found both the pork and sandwich overall pretty dry. $2 up-charge (sub French fries) for the plantains was a bit of a rip off for the five or so pieces they gave you. The service was quick and friendly at least. Wouldn't go back.

The food was unbelievably awful. I had to send my "bean and chorizo bisque" (more like a can of refried beans with sausage on top) back because it was cold. On to the entree, the white rice was instant/microwave rice (can tell by the texture), the black beans were right out of the can with no seasoning, and the lechon... More

The arroz con pollo was honorable. I had to pick out the metallic tasting chicken to eat the mushy yellow rice. The best part of the dish was throwing it away. The beans tasted like unseason can black Goya beans. Take the time and fry fresh plantain and make fresh beans w fresh garlic onions . It can make the... More

I have never been more at odds with the majority of reviewers. This place has left me disgusted. I ordered a steak sandwich with yuca con mojo, it was completely tasteless and $12.75 for four tiny pieces of seasonless yuca and a small sandwich. I ordered a dinner entree to go which I uploaded a picture for you to see.... More

When Havana Road opened, I was excited to try it & was not disappointed. The food is excellent. The service was lacking from the beginning & continues to be disappointing. It's not possible, for me, to have lunch at Havana Road on a weekday. I have to be back at my desk in a reasonable time & you just can't... More

I checked out the menu online before going there with my husband and mom for a Mother's Day treat. I knew what I wanted to order before arriving. Unfortunately, the online menu doesn't specify that the sandwiches - the vegetarian burger in my case - are only for lunch. For dinner, I would be required to order a platter with... More

This restaurant had excellent Cuban food, and a wonderful atmosphere. I recommend going here. It is small so call for reservations on a weekend night.
