Delicious food and great service

Out of 3 restaurants visited in Alleppey, Sisir Palace was the best. Each visit was a great experience - clean, quick service from knowledgable and hospitable staff, great food. Coconut Rice, Dahl Thadakka and Paneer Butter Masala were delicious.

We had veg food at their A/c corner. Preparation was neat, tasty and served well. Reasonably priced.

Its on the alleppy boat jetty road, you can have all kind of veg and non-veg food here. there was a american food section also in menu card. We tasted some south indian and some north indian dishes, all tasted just average.

I tried Sisir Palace based on reviews read here. It was okay, could have been better. I wanted to try Karimeen fried fish, it was delicious but could fit in my palm, I expected something bigger for 180 rupees. I'd have to eat at least 3 or 4 to get filled. The prawns golden fried were small, popcorn sized, breaded... More

This place was close to our homestay so we walked to it. Food was good, nothing spectacular, but the price is correct and the service as well. The decor is simple but clean and the meals are prepared in the traditional way. We enjoyed a good curry with fish and even though it was spicy we had no problems with... More

Food was quite ok and the waiters were courteous. I was having trouble digesting food cooked with coconut oil and requested them to prepare with vegetable oil. They obliged. Try out the karimine fry if you are a fish lover.

We had lunch here and chose the Executive Fish Thali. The food was tasty, clean and unlimited. Vegetables cooked Kerala style were tasty. The staff was very friendly and explained the dishes when asked. The fried fish was overdone, but other than that good.
