great value and love the get up

A simple formula which has stood the test of time, decades in fact. Staple dishes and drinks at great prices.

My experience was fine, I had a masala dosa and tea for under $1, but I wasn't impressed with the food quality at all. If it's nearby, it's a good cheap option popular with locals. Wouldn't expect an amazing South Indian dining experience though. Despite saying coffee house it's not espressos or anything of the like.

Indian Coffee House all over has the same signature items with the flamboyant service. Everytime we go there in alleppey, the taste is same. My personal favourite is the Ghee Roast called Nei Roast in Malayalam. My 8 year old son could kill anytime for a couple of Nei Roasts

I went to the Indian Coffee House at the beach and to the one in town. The staff is very friendly, they give foreigners boiled water (it's pink) and you can drink it without worries. Love your food! Thanks :)

It was a really basic restaurant but the food is really mouth watering and the price is really cheap as compared to the other restaurants around.

Called in hete for a drink as we had good memories of The Indian Coffee House in Allepy some years ago. Sometimes, if you have good memories of a place it is better to keep those memoiries and not try to replicate them! The tables were sticky, the uniforms of the staff were actually dirty, the place looked like it... More
