a really nice spot with yummy eats, a great menu and a very enjoyable spot to just hangout for abit. Operated very well mostly by deaf or some other handicap , they all do their job very well and posses wonderful senses of humour.. If you do.

Epic Arts is a very reputable organisation, and runs an arts school for children with disabilities, as well as cafes, which sell lovely items and provide sign language classes. The cafe had a lovely atmosphere, and the staff were friendly. They enforced the belief of seeing ability, not disability. The sign language class was very worthwhile, and I really recommend... More

We ate here after reading the lonely planet guide. This place exceeded our expectations. The staff is friendly and the way of ordering is quite fun. The menu shows some basic sign language which is very interesting. We had pancakes here which were very average, the daily special of fried eggplant rolls with couscous were very good. The cafe is... I'm a sucker for a decent cause do i was always going to love this place. The truth is, the food was acceptable but not amazing, but the smoothie was to die for! They also sell artworks and tshirts etc designed by the local disadvantaged people. Definitely worth a visit.

EpicArts is an NGO in Kampot that works based on the philosophy of "See Ability, not Disability." They have a great cafe in town, as well as a main HQ a bit outside of town by the Aquatic Center. The Cafe has great sandwiches, breakfast, and lunch dishes. The coffee and brownies are critically acclaimed as well. Many of the... More

The food was great - cafe style, generous portions. The cafe has indoor and outdoor seating, with fair trade goods for sale indoors. I went twice to this restaurant within two days. I tried the sandwiches, the fruit and yogurt and the juices. All were excellent. The atmosphere is very relaxed, not for someone in a hurry.

great iced coffee and chocolate brownie and for a good cause. Communication was easy even though the waitress is deaf. You get a sheet were you mark what you want to order and on the menu card you can learn how to communicate a few words with deaf people.

Fab place, great food. Some reviewers have mentioned slow service but that never happened to me and I ate there several times.

These NGO initiatives are available throughout Cambodia. In my opinion the easiest way to really help people. And the drinks are pretty nice too!
