Nice Pizza, shame about the service

This restaurant was recommended to me so I walked a little out of my way to get to it.  First impressions were good, nice, well furnished seating area. I asked the young lady behind the bar of pizzas were being served and received an unenthusiastic 'yes'.  I ordered a special and it came exactly... read more

Mea Culpa is a friendly restaurant walking distance from most places in Kampot. The pizza is as good as any in New Jersey or NYC. They have a real brick oven outside near the tables. There is an extensive choice of mixed drinks which use fresh juice. I am not a margarita expert but the one I had was very strong... More

I have been coming to Mea Culpa since 2009 and found the place to be a well run, friendly outpost to weigh anchor for a few nights. Its just a little off the main part of Kampot, but its only a short walk. They do good breakfasts, although not included in the room rate but the pizzas are excellent. It... More

The Pizza was so good we went back twice. We had a tomato and cheese pizza the first time and two beers just before we went on a sunset cruise. The service was super fast and the pizza fresh and tasty. The next day after a long tour in the monsoon rains up Bokor we were feeling exhausted and in... More

We stayed there and had a chance to eat at the restaurant a few times for lunch and dinner. The pizza was great! We also enjoyed the other items that we have tried on the menu (pasta, lok lak beef). The place is quiet and the staff is frendly & attentive.

Saw the enthusiastic reviews so decided to drive over to Mea Culpa to taste test their specialty: pizza. Truthfully, decent pizza is pretty hard to come by in Third World countries. One reason is that standard ingredients that are sorta cheap in the west like cheese, sausage and mushroom are rather pricey in places like Cambodia. So many restaurants cut... More

Pizzas would not normally be our food choice, but the pizza here with your own choice of toppings cooked in a wood-fired oven, was delicious. The quiet and shady garden setting was very pleasant after a morning on the scooter sightseeing.

Great little italian in lovely situation. The tomato, feta cheese & basil starter was strong and full of flavour. The side salad was great, it had the dressing on the side so you could add as much or as little as you wanted and the pizza was HOT, we asked for extra chilli and they certainly obliged. The meal was... More
