Had lunch today with business associate. My first time at Fishers. Enjoyed a turkey Reuben with pasta side. Very tasty. You order at the rear bar area and they deliver to your table. Appeared to offer a well stocked bar. Friendly service. This is a quaint low key atmosphere not appropriate for small children. I plan to return to experience... More

This is a really nice neighborhood bar and grill with great pub food, good prices on beer, and friendly service. There seem to be a fair number of regulars, the walls are loaded with sports memorabilia, the menu is posted on the walls, and the place is kind of small, and funky as to decor, all of which underscore that... This is a great neighborhood spot within walking distance of Marriott downtown. Burgers and sandwiches are good and service is too. Make sure you get the house made chips!

If you're in that end of "up-town" don't pass up their reuben; it's tasty! Fishers, a bar and grill, has been a neighborhood institution for years. A quaint spot with local memorabilia on the wall.

Walked over to Fishers after the May25 Grasshoppers game for a burger and a beer. There is a big sign that reads "GREAT FOOD 11:00 am to 11:00 pm". We arrived right at 9:45 pm. We went to the bar and the bartender asked "You guys goona want anything to drink?" and the tone instantly sounded like we were bothering... More

My hubby and I had an appointment downtown Greensboro yesterday. We arrived early and decided we had enough time to grab a quick bite. We saw Fishers, it looked quaint so we gave it a try. The food was sooooo go, we got burgers, hubby got fries and I got onion rings. I have not had onion rings that good... More

Came here in search of true local, non-generic lunch option. Nice authentic bar, with decent sandwiches and burgers. Wooden booths, bar stools, and round tables with high stools. Couple TVs to show whatever games are on. Mainly local, grownup, working class crowd. Can smoke at outside seating in front. Nice drink specials -- one day had spicy bloody marys, next... More

Fishers is bar food, but it's better and less expensive than what you typically see at a sports bar. The menu is pretty expansive for a bar, and also has a lot more taste than typically bland bar food. I particularly recommend the cajun fries. Although they do takeout, plan to wait a while for it, and the eat in... More

I hadn't been to Fishers in years, and it seems I missed out. I had forgotten what a friendly place it is with good drinks and great service. A great atmosphere for fun.
