Wow. This food is delicious. We went for 'breakfast' at about 10:30 on Friday and there was only 1 table open. I was shocked that this place was so full at such an odd hour on a weekday. Almost like a hole in the wall hidden gem. I had the bacon and egg plate with fried potatoes. I don't care... More

We arrived in town after driving all night from New York. We needed breakfast before we arrived at our friend's house and didn't want to go to a chain restaurant. We read the reviews and took a chance that the atmosphere and food would suit our 1 & 7 year olds. Happily we found empty tables (on a Thurs AM)... More

You will have to wait if you do not get there early enough on a Sunday, but even with a long wait it is worth it. Huge biscuits, made-to-order omelets (I like feta, salmon, tomato), pancakes, sausage, grits... I just ate lunch and I'm getting hungry just thinking about breakfast at Smith St. We call it the Piggy Place because... More

Be hungry. This diner serves great food and plenty of it. Get ready for a treat. Hash is to die for. I'll be back with more friends.

Busy dinner across the street from NewBridge Bank Park. Usually a wait for tables. Portions are generous and the food is good. The biscuits looked great but they were too dry.

Was visiting the Greensboro area and found this spot. Excellent choice! Great diner experience. Coffee was great, food was good and the biscuits were enormous! Got the apple butter to accompany my biscuit ... yum! Service was great!

I think it is the best breakfast spot in Greensboro. The service staff needs replacing though as they were downright non-communicative the entire visit. I felt like I was actually an inconvenience for a minute. The food made up for the rudeness, believe it or not.

The staff does not know how to handle a rush well, and the actual restaurant is not set up to accommodate waiting patrons. They were very rude to us, and used the excuse of being busy to justify it. There are better options in Greensboro for breakfast or brunch.

Worth the wait on a Sunday morning - delicious food, great portions...the biscuits are enormous! We didn't have a long wait when we went, but it was a rainy morning & you have to wait outside as the restaurant is small & uses its space for tables & food! We drove by last weekend & the line was much longer... More
