Best Biscuits

There is a reason Smith Street Diner is still in business! It is great tasting comfort food at great prices. The biscuits are amazing.

I'm not sure why this place gets high reviews - it obvious they have a strong following. On the weekends you'll see people lined up for breakfast. On my behalf, I didn't find it a good option. They give you large servings of greasy fried food.

This was the first surprise place my sister brought me too for my birthday and oh my god it's amazing! It gets busy fast but it's sooo worth it. I had the omelette and she had the biscuits and gravy and both where amazing! But a tip: the biscuits are HUGE so you might not want to order on with... More

I was hung up in the area on a Sunday waiting on business to resume Monday and found this little place with trip advisor. Worked out great, I walked in and sat down immediately at about 12:30. I expected from other reviews there might be a wait and a crowd and had alternate plans in place in case there was... More

Visited for a late breakfast one day, and it was all it's hyped up to be! Extensive menu, good prices, and hot, delicious, home-style cooking. No wonder the locals line up on the weekends, to get in. The service was fast (and it was packed) and the people friendly. As I always say, "Go where the locals go...and this is... More

Everything was perfect - the biscuits are huge and tasty, the fig marmalade was out of this world, the kids loved the french toast and sausage (links were the winner). We will be back again and again!

Everything on the menu is delicious and nothing is too expensive. I always leave satisfied. Also, the coffee they serve is awesome.

Have been twice, ready to return. Ordered sausage biscuit and bowl of grits on first visit, more than enough. Had fish and chips on second visit, very good, recommend to anyone

Good coffee and pancakes but a little on the expensive side. $!2 for breakfast would be half that at other places in town. Biscuits are huge but cakey.

I'll start by saying that the home fries were just about the best I've ever had at a restaurant. Exactly the way I like them. But just about everything else was, well, OK, but that's about it. Perfectly adequate eggs, but nothing more. OK sausage links. Good OJ. As for the biscuits, I'm perfectly willing to believe that these are... More
