I came here with my girlfriend on the way home from the martinsville race and I must say its amazing best burger and sweet tea ever and even better than other steak and shake locations I've been too amazing service and open 24 hours!

On our way to Eclectic Nature's new shop on State St (LOVE), we passed this place and vowed to stop on our return to WS. We grabbed an Oreo Cookies & Cream and a Salted Caramel Pretzel shake and loved both. We also got the Frisco Melt and a regular cheese burger. Both were OK, and the fries were thin... More

Stopped during a road trip for a lunch break. I guess my first mistake was ordering a salad. The fried chicken salad sounded good per the menu, but was pretty pitiful. The chicken seemed to be frozen, warmed and sliced. Nothing special. And the lettuce was all iceberg. Bland. No taste. My husband and son seemed pleased with their orders... More

When going here remember where you are going. Fed two people for under $10 ... this is a sit-down version of a fast food restaurant. Given then... Visited Sunday lunch. We were seated very promptly and had ordered within minutes. There was a large group there with a takeout order and the waitperson was thoughtful enough to sit us far... More

Great to get a burger and fries. Enjoyed my experience. They have good milkshakes and the burgers are delicious. Fast food with the same old routine experience.

Salad was NOT good. Spouse loved his burger and shake. Service was extremely slow. Bathrooms not clean. Servers acted bored. I like Steak N Shake but will not return to this one.

I stayed in a nearby hotel recently and got reacquainted with Steak and Shake. I first encountered this chain in Florida in the 1980's and finding one again after 20+ years was an absolute pleasure. I had "The Original Double 'n Cheese" and it was literally the best sandwich I've had in years. It was so good, I had another,... More

Food was great, but the service was very slow. I was with my son, and a family of four that sat down after we did got served before we did. The manager berated an employee right next to our table. You just don't do that.

I have never ! Several couples/families got up and walked out - I told them we were going to the restaurant next door - surprisingly they followed and we left our cars at Steak n' Shake - young and old alike. We should have sued - like some would have but we didn't, nor did we call the media -... More
