Cafe Europa has a welcoming environment during all four seasons. The patio is fantastic for drinking and dining during the warmer months and the inside seating works well in the freezing cold and blistering heat. They have great mussels, a variety of tasty sandwiches, and two delicious vegetarian entrees: lasagna and spanakopita. A huge draw is what my friends and... More

We have lived across from Cafe Europa thru 3 seasons now; summer, fall and now winter. I have noticed it always seems to be busy so we decided to see what the hub bub is all about. It was a beautiful day so since they have outdoor seating, took our very large black lab over to see if they would... More

The food was great. The atmosphere was really nice too. Prices are affordable, especially for downtown.

The Europa has a great terrace with a good afterwork crowd all year long and a good evening crowd in warm weather. The food I eaten there (only some appeatizers) is only average, the wine is pretty good, but the service and atmposphere are really fine.

I was in downtown Greensboro and decided to linger a while at the bar at Cafe Europa. I found the bar food enjoyable, try the mussels or calamari, and the owner, John Rudy, a perfect bar tender. Laid back and familiar to any European pub crawler, this establishment is an enjoyable diversion before going home.

Stopped by Cafe Europa on a recommendation from a local. Tuesday night was mussel night. A glass of wine and a plate load of mussels with either bread or french fries for $8. Can't beat it! Wednesday night is 1/2 price wine night. Wish I was going to be around for that.. Great little place off the beaten path. Justin,... More

We tried Cafe Europa on a quick visit through Greensboro and had a wonderful lunch outside, listening to the live music in the park across the street. Our meals, sandwiches, Au jur and Turkey and havarti, were delicious and huge! If you are ever in downtown Greensboro and want to enjoy attentive service, tasty food and a relaxing time, stop... Downtown Greensboro...spent the afternoon watching a live blues band on the 4th. When that ended my wife and I got a table on the outside patio shared a bottle or wine and some appetizers while waiting for another couple. Nice place to relax if downtown

We loved the patio and the Shrimp Dip and the Steaks were both super. The prices were really reasonable.
